What Secret Talent Did ‘Stranger Things’ Star, Millie Bobby Brown, Just Reveal?
Millie Bobby Brown is a young woman of many talents. At just 15, the British actress has already landed herself a spot on the Time 100 list of the world’s most influential people. Though Brown is known primarily for her acting abilities, the teen is clearly multi-talented. She recently revealed one of her secret talents that will blow you away.
Brown made her acting debut back in 2013 (at just nine years old) when she guest starred in the ABC spin-off Once Upon A Time In Wonderland. Over the next few years, she would guest star on prominent television shows like Grey’s Anatomy and Modern Family until she landed herself a lead role on Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things.
Stranger Things
Starring as Eleven, aka Jane Hopper, was definitely a turning point in the actress’ career and she rose to fame back in 2016. Her incredible performance in the series earned Brown an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Only 13 years old at the time, Brown became one of the youngest people ever to be nominated for an Emmy. Brown’s recognition has only grown in the past few years as Stranger Things continues to be one of Netflix’s most successful shows. Reports indicate that the young actress could be making between $300,000 – $350,000 an episode for the upcoming season which releases on July 4.
But Brown’s talents certainly don’t stop there. Last night, the 15-year-old stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to share one of her lesser-known talents with the world.
Her secret talent
Though Brown has been embodying characters through her incredible acting for the past six years, there’s a talent that she’s been working on for even longer. For well over a decade, she has been completely enamored with the late singer, Amy Winehouse. The Stranger Things star admitted that Winehouse is her top musical influence and has been since she was a baby. “Amy Winehouse is like my favorite!” she gushed to Jimmy Fallon.
Perhaps the most impressive part of Brown’s interview was her impersonation of Winehouse. When prompted, the actress delivered a spot-on performance of Winehouse’s classic hit “You Know I’m No Good” from her iconic album Back To Black. The audience and Fallon we were blown away by Brown’s vocals, and she left them wondering if there is anything this 15-year old can’t do?
Godzilla
After hearing Brown’s vocals, many die-hard fans were demanding that she release an album asap. While the actress has no plans to do so, there are plenty of professional projects keeping her busy these days. Along with the new season of Stranger Things, Brown’s upcoming film Godzilla: King of the Monsters releases in theaters on May 31.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters is Brown’s theatrical debut and she will reprise her role as Madison Russell in the sequel Godzilla vs. Kong which is set to release in 2020. With all of her outstanding talents, both known and unknown, we can’t wait to see what she’ll bring to the big screen.
