What Time Does BTS Wake Up?
Jin, RM, J-Hope, Suga, V, Jimin, and Jungkook do pretty much everything together, from performing to eating to napping. Still, these BTS members have pretty different sleep schedules and habits. Here’s what we know about the performers behind songs like “Boy With Luv” and “Dynamite.”
What time do the BTS members typically wake up?
Each of the BTS members have pretty different sleep schedules but, thanks to Weverse videos, fans learned more about what time these idols typically wake up. According to Amino Apps, J-Hope is the member with the most consistent sleep patterns, often waking up around 8 a.m.
According to K-pop Map, as the leader of the group, RM is typically the member who wakes up first. As a result, he has a few different methods for waking up each performer. As one of the heaviest sleepers, for V, he has to take away his blanket. For Jimin and Jungkook, he turns on the light.
The BTS members are constantly working on new music and touring
Before the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the BTS members spent time overseas, promoting Map of the Soul: 7. They also planned to embark on a world tour together, stopping in Europe and multiple venues in the United States.
Since August 2020, the BTS members have been hard at work, releasing and promoting their chart-topping single, “Dynamite.” That includes performing at the MTV Video Music Awards, sending in their video from South Korea.
While touring, though, these boys presumably have weird sleeping patterns and habits. To perform overseas, they’re often changing time zones, making their sleep schedules pretty sporadic. That’s why they often grab some z’s whenever and wherever they can.
Suga loves sleeping — Jungkook likes sleeping with a towel
Over the years, fans learned a little more about these performers and their sleeping habits. It’s no surprise to fans that RM often stays up late working on music, while V stays up late live streaming with fans. Suga tries to get as much sleep as possible.
For one interview, some fans noticed that Suga was dozing off. During a separate interview, the K-pop group was asked what three words best describe them. For Suga, the three words he chose were eat, sleep, and work.
Prior to their stardom, though, these members had pretty unique ways of sleeping and unwinding. The youngest member of BTS, Jungkook, shared how he used to sleep during an episode of BANGTANTV from November 2019.
“I don’t have a pillow at home,” he shared, according to one translation, before also letting fans and his bandmates in how he usually slept. “I roll up towels.”
Fans can see BTS perform live on their now-postponed Map of the Soul tour. Music by BTS, including their recently released single, “Dynamite,” is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and most major streaming platforms.
