Jenn Tran is set to become the first-ever Asian American bachelorette in just a few short days. Tran, who competed for Joey Graziadei’s heart on season 28 of The Bachelor, will lead season 21 of The Bachelorette. While fans didn’t initially think Tran would be the contestant to lead the next season, most are excited to see her find love after her fifth-place finish on The Bachelor. So, when exactly can you watch it? We have all the details.
When does ‘The Bachelorette’ season 21 premiere?
The Bachelorette season 21 premieres on Monday, July 8. The premiere episode will air from 8 pm to 10 pm Eastern Standard Time on ABC. After week 1, fans will need to tune into ABC each Monday to see Tran progress through a series of dates to find her perfect match. The season is expected to run for around eight weeks. Hulu subscribers can tune into the action the day after the episode airs on network television.
During the premiere episode, Tran will meet all of her possible suitors. She’ll also be expected to narrow down the playing field a bit during week 1. While the number of contestants cut during week 1 of the competition varies by season, Tran will be expected to send anywhere from 3 to 6 men home almost immediately.
After Tran finds her great love, fans of the dating competition should stick around. The Golden Bachelorette is set to premiere immediately after Tran’s season wraps up. The Golden Bachelorette, which focuses on finding love later in life, will feature Joan Vassos. Vassos self-eliminated during the inaugural season of The Golden Bachelor.
When was Jenn Tran’s season of ‘The Bachelorette’ filmed?
Jenn Tran was announced as the next bachelorette during the season finale of The Bachelor in March. Tran had a couple of months to prepare for her upcoming season while the casting team found the perfect men to vie for her attention. ABC announced the complete list of her suitors just weeks ago.
Season 21 of The Bachelorette was filmed in May and June 2024. Over six weeks, Tran dated more than two dozen men before allegedly picking the man of her dreams. While Tran’s season has not yet premiered, spoilers already suggest it could be a bit of a whirlwind for fans of the famed franchise.
Reality Steve theorizes that Tran will leave the series as an engaged woman after photos of the TV personality heading to her final rose ceremony were leaked. Tran looked positively bridal in a white lace dress in the spy shots. Who exactly she will hand over the final rose to, however, remains a mystery.
