The Real Housewives franchise is one of the biggest jewels in the crown of the Bravo network. The franchise, which features such standouts as The Real Housewives of Atlanta and The Real Housewives of New York, is known for drama, excess, and, of course, plenty of catfights that set social media ablaze. Recently, showrunner Andy Cohen announced an exciting new addition to the franchise that has everyone talking—and many fans are wondering if this latest series, The Real Housewives of Dubai, will be the most glamorous yet.

Andy Cohen recently announced ‘The Real Housewives of Dubai’

On November 1, Cohen, the voice and face of the Bravo network, announced a brand-new series, The Real Housewives of Dubai. The show will premiere on the network sometime in 2022 and has not yet begun filming. As the first international version of the famed reality franchise, fans are excited – and Cohen shares their anticipation. In his announcement, as reported by CNN, Cohen noted that the show would “blow the lid off the entire franchise.”

No exact release date has been revealed yet, according to Elite Daily, and it likely won’t be published for quite some time, since the series is still in production. However, when The Real Housewives of Dubai is well underway, fans will be able to watch episodes on the Bravo network, as well as on Hulu Live TV, fuboTV, and DIRECTV Stream, according to Grounded Reason

“Everything’s bigger in Dubai, and I couldn’t be more excited to launch Bravo’s first international Housewives series in a city I’ve been fascinated by for years, with an outstanding group of friends as our guides,” Cohen said, according to Bravo TV, in a statement that promises a lot of excitement and drama. Naturally, Cohen and other showrunners will have to step up to the plate and hire a truly incredible cast to round out the brand-new series.

Currently, Cohen has not revealed who those cast members will be, so fans are left to discuss amongst themselves. However, many are speculating that former Ladies of London star Caroline Stanbury will be one of the housewives and that other reality TV personalities like Lesa Milan, Chanel Ayan, Dr. Sara Al Madani, and real estate director Caroline Brooks will be joining her. Rumors have also swirled that Dubai resident Lindsay Lohan will be joining the cast, but again, those rumors have not been confirmed.

Cohen’s announcement for The Real Housewives of Dubai promised not only a lot of drama but a lot of luxury as well—and many fans can’t wait. “Omg, that’s gonna be next level! bring the real big money,” a fan on Instagram wrote. Another said “Very excited for this and can’t wait to see more of Dubai and its culture. Just hope the cast reflects the country and the overall region.”

Certainly, since Dubai is known as the “City of Gold,” according to The Sun, fans will get to see a lot of glamorous living in the new series. Dubai is renowned for the over-the-top lifestyle of its residents and has a reputation for opulence and excess. With wealthy living over and beyond what has been featured in past Real Housewives shows, it seems likely that viewers of The Real Housewives of Dubai will get to enjoy the kind of jet-set living that many can only dream of.
