Where Are Beyoncé and Jay-Z Now?
Beyoncé and Jay-Z have always been pretty reserved. But they have been really low-key in recent months. Aside from their work on Disney+’s Black Is King and a few other projects, we haven’t heard all that much from the superstar couple. Their absence has us wondering, where are Beyoncé and Jay-Z and what are they up to?
Beyoncé and Jay-Z have been on a months-long getaway
Ever since mid-June, Beyoncé and Jay-Z have reportedly been in The Hamptons, a community in Long Island, New York that is known for being a summer getaway for the wealthy.
They were seen arriving there around the time Beyoncé released the anthem “Black Parade” on June 19, when the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis had started picking up and forced everyone into quarantine. TMZ published photos showing them exiting a plane along with their three children: 8-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter and 3-year-old twins Sir and Rumi.

A source told HollywoodLife in a report published on Aug. 29 that the couple has taken full advantage of their long, leisurely break by doing all the things they love most, including spending more time with their family.
“They love it there and it’s been the perfect place to be during the pandemic for them because they have a ton of property and everything they need,” the insider shared.
“They love going for bike rides, playing on the beach with kids and BBQing,” the source continued. “Beyonce’s mom has been there with them and so has Solange and her son. Lately, they’ve been socializing with friends more, but they’ve kept their circle small, they’re cautious. For the most part, it’s been a lot of quality family time.”

The pair appeared to take a brief leave during the week of Aug. 30, traveling to Croatia in honor of Beyoncé’s 39th birthday on Sept. 4. TMZ reported that they rented a lavish yacht that costs $2 million a week and sailed around the Mediterranean for a few days with their kids.
“The Carters celebrated Beyoncé’s birthday with a sailing trip on the Adriatic Sea along the coast of Croatia. They spent most of their time on the superyacht, Lana, anchored in the Dubrovnik Riviera,” a supposed eyewitness told E! News. “[But] they made a few trips to shore where they took photos of the coast and each other. They all had a great time.”
After the getaway, they reportedly returned to The Hamptons. HollywoodLife obtained and published photos of Beyoncé and Jay-Z on Sept. 15, showing the couple enjoying a boat ride with a few friends.
Beyoncé was seen relaxing in an Ivy Park sweatsuit and enjoying what appears to be a glass of wine while Jay-Z kicked back with a pair of sunglasses on. There’s no word on what they intend on doing next, but if the past is any indication, it looks like it’ll be a good time.
