Where Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick Stand After She Appeared to Call Him Her ‘Husband’
Of all those in the Kardashian-Jenner circle, it is truly hard to keep up with Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick.
After nine years of being off-and-on, the pair broke up in 2015 when Disick became entangled in a cheating scandal with an ex-girlfriend. They put their problems aside to build a healthy co-parenting relationship for their three kids: Mason, 10, Penelope, 8, and Reign, 5. But their unusually close bond often confuses fans and leads to rumors that there’s still something between them.
The speculation only grew when Disick split from Sofia Richie and seemingly began to spend more and more time with Kardashian. The Poosh founder has also fueled rumors, most recently when she joked on social media that she had a husband. But according to sources, that’s just the kind of relationship they have.

Kardashian appeared to share the post during a recent vacation with Disick, their kids, and Kim Kardashian West’s four children: North, 7, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 1. In Touch Weekly reports that the group had their getaway at Balboa Island in Newport Beach, California, where they played on the beach and more.
Seemingly while on the trip, Kardashian posted a picture with TikTok star Addison Rae along with the caption, “My husband’s girlfriend and I exchanging stories.” Though she did not say names, fans believed that she was referring to Disick as her husband.

Despite what some people are thinking, a source told HollywoodLife in a report published on Aug. 1 that Kardashian was joking and doesn’t plan on marrying Disick anytime soon.
“Scott & Kourtney are really close but there’s nothing there besides them being co-parents and best friends,” the source shared. “Scott will always love her and she’ll always have a place for him, but there’s no way these two would ever get married. It was just a joke.”
Both Disick and Kardashian have spoken about the importance of having a close friendship given that they have a family together.
“The truth is, my problems shouldn’t affect the kids,” Disick said in a 2019 interview with Us Weekly. “Just because their mother and I couldn’t make it as a perfect, romantic couple shouldn’t have anything to do with the kids. They don’t deserve our mistakes, so we figured out a way.”
When he moved on with Richie, Kardashian made an effort to get to know her. She told Paper in a previous interview that she was “most proud of” the relationship she’d established with the couple, who split in May after nearly three years of dating.
It remains to be seen where the future will take Disick and Kardashian, but for now, it looks like they are truly just friends and co-parents.
