Sophie Turner talked about filming the “Sucker” music video
The Jonas Brothers made their big return with the “Sucker” music video featuring all of their wives. Turner has been hard at work on Game of Thrones for years but revealed how filming for the music video was different.
She told USA Today that filming a scripted show is much more structured. “You have to be done with this scene by a certain time and you have to say these words and stand at exactly these spots, because otherwise it wouldn’t work,” the actress explained.
Turner then talked about what it was like to film the music video. “Whereas with a music video, it’s just much more kind of free and loose and improvisational,” she said. “I wouldn’t say it’s more fun. Just different.”
Turner said Joe Jonas has helped her with her depression
The actress has opened up more about their relationship lately. She said that her new husband has helped her with her depression.
“I had no motivation to do anything or go out,” she revealed on Phil in the Blanks. “Even with my best friends, I wouldn’t want to see them … I would cry and cry and cry. Just having to change and put on clothes, I said, ‘I can’t do this. I can’t go outside. I have nothing that I want to do.'”
She then talked about her new relationship. “I love myself now, or more than I used to,” Turner said. “I’m now with someone that makes me realize, you know, that I do have some redeeming qualities, I suppose, and when someone tells you they love you every day, it makes you realize why that is, and I think it makes you love yourself a bit more.”
It sounds like all of that comes to play in the new Jonas Brothers album. Her husband revealed which song is about Turner and the lyrics have a sweet message.
Joe Jonas said “Hesitate” is about Turner
The singer revealed which of his new songs is about his wife. “[‘Hesitate’] is a song I wrote for my significant other, Sophie,” he said according to Us Weekly. “This is, kind of, I think, one of those love letters you write to your partner saying, ‘I’ll be there no matter what.’”
The lyrics include, “I will take your pain / And put it on my heart / I won’t hesitate / Just tell me where to start / I thank the oceans for giving me you / You save me once, and now I’ll save you too / I won’t hesitate for you.”
