Which of Jennifer Lopez’s Exes Gave Her The More Expensive Engagement Ring?

Amid news that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have reunited, her love life has become a topic of chatter once more. The singer has been proposed to five times over the last 20 years, with only three engagements turning into marriages. Here's a look at J.Lo's past engagements and how much each of her engagement rings was worth.

Jennifer Lopez has been engaged five times and has received stunning rings from each proposal. But which of her ex-fiancés gave her the more expensive ring? If you guessed Ben Affleck or Alex Rodriguez, you might want to think again.

Lopez’s first engagement came in 1997 to Cuban waiter Ojani Noa.

Noa proposed to the actor with a $100,000 marquise-cut diamond, according to Us Weekly. The pair tied the knot that same year in February. Though the singer thought that their relationship would last forever, it, unfortunately, ended one year later in 1998.

J.Lo’s marriage to Cris Judd

Following a brief romance with Sean (P. Diddy aka Brother Love) Combs, Lopez started dating her former backup dancer Cris Judd. Eventually, Judd asked for the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer’s hand in marriage by proposing with an emerald-cut diamond ring worth an estimated $100,000.

Lopez and Judd said their “I Do’s” in September 2001. The pair were husband and wife for less than a year before they decided to end their union in June 2002.

Her engagement to Ben Affleck

In late 2001, Lopez met and fell in love with actor Ben Affleck on the set of their film Gigli. The two began dating seriously in mid-2002, with their romance receiving widespread coverage in the media. In November 2002, Lopez and Affleck became engaged.

The Gone Girl star popped the question with a stunning $2.5 million, 6.1-carat pink diamond Harry Winston ring, which, according to Alastair Smith, founder of Ringspo.com, was more expensive due to the rare colored stone.

Though the couple had plans to marry in September 2003, they never made it down the aisle. Initially, Lopez and Affleck postponed their wedding due to “excessive media attention.” In January 2004, the couple ended their relationship, breaking Bennifer shippers’ hearts in the process.

In 2004, Lopez got engaged to singer Marc Anthony, whom she had previously dated for a few months in the late 1990s.

The “When I Dream At Night” crooner got down on one knee with an 8.5-carat blue cushion-cut diamond worth an estimated $4 million, which is the most expensive engagement ring Lopez has received to date.

Lopez and Anthony exchanged vows in June 2004, five months after her relationship with Affleck came to an end. The two were married for seven years, during which they welcomed twins Emme and Max in 2008. Sadly, the couple split in 2011. A year later, Anthony filed for divorce, which was finalized in 2014.

Five years after her divorce from Anthony, Lopez found herself engaged again!

This time, it was to former NBL player Alex Rodriguez. The pair got engaged in March 2019 during a trip to the Bahamas. The athlete proposed to the Maid in Manhattan actor on the beach with an estimated $1.4 million, 15-carat emerald-cut diamond ring.

Lopez and Rodriguez were engaged for two years before they decided to call off their engagement in 2021, ending their relationship in the process.
