Which Season of ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ Is Kim Kardashian West’s Favorite?
Say what you want about Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but there’s no denying that the Kardashian-Jenner family knows how to keep viewers entertained. Kardashian stans just can’t get enough of this famous bunch and their hit E! series, with its hilarious antics and touching family moments.
And like other hit shows, everyone has their favorite seasons, including Kim Kardashian West, who recently revealed her No. 1 pick for Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Kim Kardashian West’s favorite season has yet to air
These past 19 seasons of Keeping Up With the Kardashians have given us a lot, but according to Kardashian West, the best is yet to come.
While live-tweeting during the Oct. 8 episode, the KKW Beauty mogul was asked to name her favorite season of the hit reality series.
Seeing as Kardashian West usually responds to fan questions during her live-tweet sessions, of course she replied to the query — and her answer was one that didn’t fail to get fans excited.
“Season 20,” she tweeted.
‘KUWTK’ is ending with season 20 in 2021
Season 20 of KUWTK will air sometime in 2021 and will be the show’s final season.
Kardashian West announced this news back in September, telling fans on social media that she and her family had come to a joint decision to end their beloved show nearly 15 years after it debuted.
“It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” she wrote. “After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spinoff shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way.”
Though there isn’t a clear answer on when exactly the final season will air, the season will likely premiere soon since onlookers spotted Kardashian West, Khloé Kardashian, and Scott Disick filming season 20 just three days after news of their show ending was announced.
“Kim and Khloé are happy to be filming for now,” a source told People. “They all had some conflicts before they decided to ultimately stop production of KUWTK. But everyone seems okay with the decision now.”
The insider added, “They will all continue to film the last season, including Rob [Kardashian]. They want to make the season memorable for their fans.”
Fans can expect to see a different side of the Kardashian-Jenners in the final season
Though the Kar-Jenners have yet to officially announce when season 20 of KUWTK will premiere or give us any details on what’s in store for the last season, Kardashian West did hint at what’s to come during a recent interview with Grazia magazine.
Not only will there be added episodes and a grand finale, but viewers will also get to see “another dimension” to the family as they live their everyday lives during the coronavirus pandemic, which Kardashian West believes will be interesting to watch.
“If anything, it’ll be really interesting to see what all of us were doing during the pandemic,” she told the outlet. “We were so scared and cautious and we shared every moment of that. Having to be with four kids and not have their friends or their routines and no help. It was a very different side of us that I don’t think anyone’s really seen.”
