Which ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Stars Will Be in Brittany and Jax’s Wedding Party?
Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor’s wedding is just a few months away. The Vanderpump Rules couple will get married this summer in the bride’s home state of Kentucky, and Brittany is heading back home for a bridal shower and mini-bachelorette party.
As the big day gets closer, more details about the event are trickling out, including which of Brittany’s SUR colleagues will be standing by her side on at the altar.
Lala Kent reveals she’s part of the wedding party
On Wednesday, Lala Kent revealed that she’s been asked to be part of the wedding party. “She asked me on New Year’s Eve,” the Pump Rules star told US Weekly. “It was epic.”
Lala added that she already has her bridesmaid dress, which she described as “phenomenal.” She added: “Well done, Brittany. They’re hot.”
Lala — who is engaged to Randall Emmett — said she and her husband-to-be love hanging out with Brittany and Jax. “I just adore them as a couple,” she said.
Kristen Doute and Scheana Shay are also bridesmaids
Kristen Doute and Scheana Shay are also part of the wedding party. “Duh! Brittany’s wedding, are you kidding me?” Kristen told Us Weekly in November 2018. She added that she’d be OK with being the only bridesmaid. “I would create myself as the only bridesmaid if I could,” she said. “Of course.”
Scheana sounded thrilled about being involved in the upcoming nuptials. “Yes, I am,” she said when US Weekly asked if she was in the wedding. “Yes!”
Other SURvers who reportedly made the wedding party cut include Stassi Schroeder, Katie Maloney, and Ariana Madix. Jax’s sister Jenny Cauchi is also a bridesmaid, according to The Knot. Brittany’s friend Cara Marie has revealed that she is the maid of honor.
Who are Jax’s groomsmen?
As for who will be standing up with Jax, Vanderpump Rules’ Peter Madrigal revealed on Instagram that he will be a groomsman. Tom Sandoval will also be in the wedding — and he’s planning on throwing the groom an epic bachelor party.
“He’s thrown out some ideas so we’re still working on it,” Tom told Hollywood Life in November 2018. “I want him [Jax] to do what he wants to do and have a great time. I don’t think he’s 100 percent yet.”
But he added that he was expecting Jax to be difficult to deal with once the wedding day rolls around.
“I’m preparing myself to deal with a little bit of a groomzilla for sure with Jax,” he said.
Who isn’t invited?
In addition to knowing at least some of the members of the wedding party, we also know that some Vanderpump Rules cast members definitely won’t be coming to the wedding. In a February tweet, Kristen made it clear that James Kennedy, Raquel Leviss, and Billie Lee won’t be in attendance.
James is on the outs with many of his Pump Rules co-stars, and rapping about Jax cheating on Brittany during the Season 7 premiere definitely didn’t endear him to the couple, so it would be a shocker if he and his girlfriend Raquel were at the wedding. Brittany and Jax recently confirmed during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live that Jax would not be welcome at the ceremony. Lee, who joined the cast in Season 6, has yet to really click with the established cast members.
