Season 6 of American Horror Story held a few celebrity cameos. There was Lady Gaga, a witch hidden in the forest, and Trixie Mattel, a skinny legend who interviewed the My Roanoke Nightmare cast members during one episode.

Here’s what we know about this RuPaul’s Drag Race winner.

Trixie Mattel is a legend, icon, star, and alumni of ‘American Horror Story’

She’s a musician, comedian, YouTube star, a RuPaul’s Drag Race winner, and an American Horror Story actor. Since her appearance on RuPaul’s reality competition series, Trixie Mattel branched out to work on several projects.

“I’m 28 years old and my point of view is very dry and dark, but apparently young people really like that,” Trixie Mattel said during an interview with NME. “I don’t pull punches at all, and I write my material for adults.

“But if kids like it, they can come watch it,” she continued. “I’ll never change anything about what I do for anyone. I kind of think that’s why kids like me. If you’re a teenager and there’s someone onstage talking to you like an adult, that’s good.”

Trixie Mattel played herself in ‘AHS: Roanoke’

The drag performer only has a cameo in one episode of this horror series, titled “Chapter 10” of season 6, Roanoke. In the finale, she plays herself, a horror enthusiast who interviewed the My Roanoke Nightmare cast and crew prior to their return to the murder house.

This was the sixth season of the horror series and since then, Trixie Mattel went on to review a number of other horror-related movies and television series. That mostly thanks to her YouTube series with her fellow RuPaul’s Drag Race season 7 star, Katya Zamolodchikova.

The drag performer explained that she loves scary movies and shows, with The Haunting of Hill House being one of the scariest shows she’s seen. The two also reviewed horror movies and television shows housed in Netflix’s library, including In the Tall Grass, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and The Witches.
