Who is Bridget Moynahan’s Husband?
Bridget Moynahan, now best known for her role as Erin Reagan on the hit CBS show, Blue Bloods, has been landing major acting roles for over 20 years. She had prominent roles in the early 2000s films Coyote Ugly and Serendipity and appeared on a seven-episode stint on the hit show, Sex and the City. She later went on to appear in the action-drama films I, Robot with Will Smith and two John Wick films with Keanu Reeves.
Despite her success in the acting world, her life remained relatively low-key and free from media scrutiny until her dramatic split with NFL star Tom Brady. Despite the fact that they are each happily married now, the attention left a lasting effect on Moynahan.
Bridget Moynahan and Tom Brady dated for two years
Moynahan and Brady dated from 2004-2006 and the events of their relationship and breakup were fairly unremarkable. The split may not have gotten much attention in and of itself under normal circumstances, but the former couple didn’t find themselves under normal circumstances. Just months after the breakup, Moynahan announced she was pregnant. Meanwhile, Brady was already dating his then-girlfriend, now wife, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen.
The media had a field day with the news and brought about a level of media attention Moynahan wasn’t prepared for. She told Yahoo! Entertainment: “I had a public breakup and then I was pregnant and then I had a baby, and those moments were kind of stolen from me by the paparazzi, the tabloids, whatever.”

The paparazzi didn’t stop after the initial news of the pregnancy broke. Her son, John Edward Thomas Moynahan (who they call Jack) was born in August of 2007, and even then she was still being hounded. Moynahan found herself hiding from the photographers and picking up feelings of insecurity and the impulse to hide in public that she is still trying to shed to this day.
It was during this time, while returning some baby clothes at Barneys, that she bought a pair of boots to help her feel tougher. “I thought, that’s what I need. Let me get a little bit of my ‘New York’ back, a little armor,” Moynahan said.
She later penned a collection of essays with journalist Amanda Benchley, Our Shoes, Our Selves, showcasing stories from 40 different women about their most meaningful pair of shoes.
Bridget Moynahan is now happily married to Andrew Frankel
Andrew Frankel is a New York businessman who is now co-president of the brokerage firm his father started, Stuart Frankley & Co, Inc. Frankel flies under the radar and not much is known about him, and even his life with Moynahan is a bit of a mystery.
Moynahan is active on Instagram but rarely posts photos of her personal life, opting instead to post photos with co-stars and in support of various causes she cares about. She made an anniversary post in October of 2019, however, showing off images from their wedding day in 2015.
Moynahan and Frankel had a bit of an unconventional wedding. Luring many of their guests to Wolffer Estate Vineyards in New York under false pretenses, they had the ceremony in front of a select group of close family and friends and then arrived married to the reception, surprising the stunned guests.
Moynahan is happy with her life now telling Live with Kelly and Ryan: “Married life is good. I finally figured it out in my 40s that when it works it works and there doesn’t have to be drama.”
As for her relationship with Brady and Bündchen, after a bit of a bumpy start, all parties are co-parenting 11-year-old Jack with ease. Moynahan told People: “Tom and I made a decision to raise a child together and we both found partners that not only supported us in raising that child but also loved our child as if he was their own. I don’t think you can ask for more than that. My son is surrounded by love.”
