Who is BTS Member RM’s Celebrity Crush?
Some know him by the stage name RM, others know him as Kim Namjoon. This idol is a genius and he’s also an award-winning performer, known for his role in the K-pop group BTS.
When it comes to his celebrity crush, though, RM mentioned one American actor. Here’s what we know about this rapper.
RM is one of the rappers of BTS and the leader of the K-pop group
He’s known for his songwriting, rapping, and dancing. RM is one of the members of BTS, appearing on songs like “Dynamite” and “Life Goes On.” Along with the other BTS members, RM has a hand in writing most of the music performed by the boy band.
That includes their award-winning songs like “Boy With Luv,” released in 2019. He’s also the leader of the group and, because he’s fluent in English, often a translator for the group when they’re performing overseas.
RM also releases solo music, however, collaborating with Lil Nas X for a remix of “Old Town Road.” When it comes to his celebrity crush and his celebrity friends, however, this idol mentions a few different actors and musicians.
Who is RM’s celebrity crush?
Thanks to one interview with E! News fans learned which celebrity is RM’s crush. He said it was Blake Lively, the actor best known for her appearance in the series Gossip Girl. (Unfortunately for RM, she is already married to Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds.)
In the same interview, each BTS member shouted out different celebrities when it came to their crushes. For Suga, that was the star of Marvel movies like Avengers: Endgame and the upcoming Black Widow, Scarlett Johansson. For J-Hope, that’s the Mamma Mia singer, Amanda Seyfried.
Who are RM’s celebrity friends?
Sure, he has a celebrity crush. RM also has a few celebrity and (non-celebrity) friends outside of the BTS members. That includes the singer-songwriter and activist Halsey, the artist who appeared on BTS’ song “Boy With Luv” and Lil Nas X.
Thanks to BTS’ appearance at several award shows, Namjoon was able to meet some of his celebrity idols, including the rapper Drake and the EGOT recipient John Legend. Being famous isn’t always a good thing, though.
During one episode of Break the Silence, the artist and Jin shared that sometimes they’re jealous of their non-celebrity friends, who get to enjoy everyday activities without fear of being mobbed. Suga reassured them that “the grass is always greener on the other side.”
The “Life Goes On” music video by BTS is now available for streaming on YouTube. The K-pop group’s deluxe album, titled Be (Deluxe Edition,) is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and most major streaming platforms.
