Who is ‘Chicago Fire’ Actor Jesse Spencer’s New Wife?
Wedding bells rang this year for one of Chicago Fire‘s cast members. Jesse Spencer recently tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend in a secret wedding.
Spencer, who plays Matthew Casey on the show, has previously been romantically involved with Once Upon A Time actress Jennifer Morrison in a relationship that lasted for four years.
The former teen heartthrob has since found love in his girlfriend of 6 years, Kali Woodruff.

Jesse Spencer played the teen heartthrob in ‘Neighbours’
Jesse Spencer was born in February 1979 in Melbourne, Australia, to Rodney and Robyn Spencer. He has two older brothers and a younger sister. Interestingly, his siblings are all medical professionals, with his older brother being an oculoplastic while the other brother is an orthopedic surgeon. Spencer’s sister is an anesthetist.
Spencer attended Canterbury Primary School and later went to Malvern Central School. He also attended Scotch College, where he auditioned for his groundbreaking role on the Australian hit soap opera Neighbours.
Spencer finished his VCE at Scotch College and earned a spot at Monash University. He, however, deferred his studies to take the path of acting.
Spencer played Billy Kennedy in the show for six years and later reprised his role in 2005 for the show’s anniversary. Afterward, he starred in shows such as Uptown Girls and Swimming Upstream. He also starred in the Fox medical drama House, which lasted for eight seasons.
Spencer is also a musician and plays the violin in a band called Band from TV. The band comprises of his House costar Hugh Laurie. They play in various concerts and donates the money they get from the concerts to charities.

Matthew Casey is introduced to fans on the show’s pilot episode. He is Kelly Severide’s best friend. Although Casey is good friends with Severide, the two have a feud over the death of Andy Darden. He also has a longstanding feud with Chicago PD’S Intelligence Unit’s leader Hank Voight.
Although Severide and Casey try to be as professional as possible, they find themselves hurling insults at one another. However, the two friends patch things up by the end of the season. After Darden’s death, he finds himself gaining custody of Darden’s two children.
Casey grows affectionate of the children as he becomes their adoptive parent. He gets engaged to Dr. Hallie Thomas, but the pair break things off after some time. This is because Hallie clarifies that she doesn’t want any children despite Casey’s desire to have children.
He then begins a relationship with Gabby Dawson, but they decide they are better off as friends. Hallie returns, and she and Casey rekindle their romance. However, she gets killed in a fire after discovering a drug ring at her clinic.
In season 2, Casey ends up seeking solace in Gabby’s hands, and the two try to play coy with their feelings. They, however, decide to give in to their feelings for one another. Casey is seen as a standoffish but caring boss who will do anything for his team.

According to the Daily Mail, Spencer married his longtime girlfriend in a tight-knit ceremony with their close friends and family on June 27th. The happy couple met at a music festival in 2014 and hit it off right away. Their wedding date honored Kali’s grandparents, who so happen to celebrate that same date for their forty-year long marriage.
Kali is a research scientist from Neptune Beach, Florida, and Spencer couldn’t stop gushing about his new wife. He called their wedding a silver lining to 2020 considering this year’s events and those leading up to their wedding day.
