How did Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz meet?
Craig and Weisz have known each other for a long time. They first met while they were both attending the same university. But at the time they were just friends. Craig married actress Fiona Loudon in 1992 and had a child with her before divorcing in 1994. Weisz began seeing filmmaker Darren Aronofsky in 2001. The couple had a child together in 2006 but went their separate ways in 2010.
A movie brought Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz back together
Weisz says she never thought she would get married, “It was not an ambition of mine. It was the opposite. I couldn’t relate to romantic comedies — marriage seems to be the whole point of them… Then it just happened, happily, at a more mature moment.” Everything changed when Weisz and Craig were reunited to film the movie Dream House.
Craig and Weisz began filming Dream House in 2010. The two played a couple on screen and quickly felt the sparks off-screen. Just six months after filming the movie, the two married in a private ceremony. It seems Weisz just needed to find the right one to be ready for marriage.

In 2018, Weisz revealed the couple was expecting a child. The actress told the New York Times: “I’ll be showing soon. Daniel and I are so happy. We’re going to have a little human. We can’t wait to meet him or her. It’s all such a mystery.” The couple, who each had a child from their previous relationships, welcomed a baby girl in September 2018.

Craig is currently working on another James Bond movie, but fans shouldn’t expect him to come back after the current film. He barely came back for the upcoming sixth film under his belt and is ready to say goodbye.
