Who Is ‘E! News’ Co-Host Zuri Hall’s Athlete Boyfriend?
Zuri Hall has been an on-air correspondent for E! News since 2015 and in 2019, she signed on to be a sideline reporter for NBC’s summer competition show American Ninja Warrior.
As a popular TV personality viewers have some questions about Hall’s personal life, especially her love life since she has gushed about how happy she is in her relationship these days. Here’s more on the E! co-anchor including who she previously dated, and the athlete she is seeing now.
Hall’s career in TV
Hall was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 2, 1988. She attended Ohio State University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communication with a minor in Theatre. Hall started working in TV and won a Regional Emmy for Outstanding TV host just one year after graduation.
Prior to her gig at E! News, Hall was the face of MyINDY-TV beating out hundreds of other applicants for the job.
“I was at Ohio State, working desk job on campus. A few months before graduation I was just Googling things. I read something that said, ‘Do you want to be next face of MyINDY-TV?’ and I had no idea what that was but I was like, ‘Sure, I want to be the face,'” Hall told Indy Star. “I loved entertainment … I was active in Ohio Union Television. So the idea I would get paid to work in TV in some capacity, I was really into.”
Hall also served as an emcee for the Indiana Pacers from 2010 to 2012 and hosted a number of reality competition after shows and reunion specials for MTV’s The Challenge. She worked as a guest host for VH1‘s live show, Big Morning Buzz, and BET’s 106 & Park as well.
The athlete Hall dated previously
Hall was previously in a relationship with Dutch-born soccer player Mettin Copier. They first met in 2012 and were together for several years before calling it quits.
The former couple shared a YouTube channel called Zuri and Mettin and shared some of their romantic moments with their subscribers. But fans learned that they had split when Hall announced via a YouTube video on April 16, 2018, that she was single.
An exact reason for their breakup wasn’t given but she said they ended on good terms.
The NFL player she’s dating now
About a year after confirming her breakup with Mitten, Hall found love again with a little help from her E! News colleagues.
Giuliana Rancic and Jason Kennedy played matchmakers and set Hall up with Los Angeles Chargers tight end Sean Culkin. Kennedy and Rancic even tagged along on their first date from a nearby location. The hosts spoke in Hall’s ear and navigated her conversation with Culkin.
“We’re gonna be in Zuri’s ear,” Kennedy explained in the hilarious video. “Whatever we say, she has to say on the date.”
Despite having Rancic and Kennedy joking in her ear, sparks flew between Hall and Culkin and the two have been together ever since. The pair has not been shy either about sharing their love for one another via social media.
