Who Is Jimmy Fallon’s BTS ‘Bias?’ Here’s What This Talk Show Host Had to Say About His Favorite Member
With seven talented members of this boy band, it’s hard to pick a favorite. John Cena loves J-Hope and James Corden loves his Baby Mochi. When it comes to the New York City-based talk show host, Jimmy Fallon, he’s not shy to share his BTS bias with the ARMY.
It was recently ‘BTS Week’ on ‘The Late Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’
These new episodes of The Late Show Show Starring Jimmy Fallon make staying at home a little easier. In addition to interviews and socially distanced, virtual games, the BTS members shared a few exclusive performances with fans.
That includes never before seen versions of songs like “Dynamite,” “Idol,” and “Home.” Fans even learned more about BTS’ upcoming deluxe album, Be, which premieres during November 2020.
During 1 interview, Jimmy Fallon wore his BT21 merch
This talk show host claims he doesn’t have a favorite member of BTS, but his BT21 merch tells otherwise. When BTS appeared on the show during 2018, Fallon wore his “Chimmy” headband, the character created by Jimin.
When Jimin noticed, the two laughed about it and hugged, later embracing a second time when Jimin introduced himself. This wouldn’t be the only time that Fallon and Jimin shared a special connection.
When BTS returned to the show for a special subway edition of The Late Show, Fallon asked each of the boys what they would be if they weren’t in BTS. When he got to Jimin, he asked if the performer would be a talk show host.
“Maybe,” Jimin said with a smirk. Suga interjected, “maybe Jimin Fallon.”
“Don’t take my job,” Fallon joked, before discussing jobs with the other members. Aside from their handful of performances during BTS week, these K-pop idols performed hits for Fallon at a few different locations.
BTS performed on Jimmy Fallon before
This K-pop group paid multiple visits to The Late Show. First, in 2018, they performed songs like “I’m Fine” and “Idol.” In 2020, they returned to promote Map of the Soul: 7, dancing to “On” in New York City’s Grand Central Station.
“We love having BTS on the show,” Fallon said in a press release, according to Newsweek. “These guys are incredible, and you just know they’re going to go above and beyond to make their performance unforgettable. Last time we had them on we took over Grand Central Terminal, so we had our work cut out for us to top that.”
The “Dynamite” music video is now available on YouTube. Music by BTS, including their recently released album, Map of the Soul: 7, is available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, and most major platforms.
