Kelly Clarkson is married to Brandon Blackstock
Kelly Clarkson has been married to talent manager, Brandon Blackstock, since 2013. The two originally met in 2006 at the Academy of Country Music Awards. At the time, however, Blackstock was married to his previous wife. They were reintroduced years later in 2012, when Kelly Clarkson was scheduled to sing the National Anthem at Super Bowl XLVI. Narvel Blackstock is the one who introduced the two. He is both Brandon’s father and Clarkson’s talent manager.

Barely shy of 10 months of dating, Blackstock proposed to Clarkson. She confirmed that she’d accepted via her Twitter account on December 15, 2012. In October of 2013, the two married in a small, private ceremony at BlackBerry Farms in Tennessee, and the two state they’ve never been happier.
How many kids do Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock have together?
Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock have two children together. Their daughter, River Rose Blackstock, was born on June 12, 2014. She was quickly followed by a little brother, Remington Alexander Blackstock, on April 12, 2016.
Although many fans wondered if the happily married couple would bring a third child into the world, Clarkson quickly said “no way.” In fact, Clarkson stated both she and Blackstock have had surgery so they are unable to have any more children. With a blended family of four, however, the Blackstocks undoubtedly have plenty of children to dote on.
Kelly Clarkson is also a step-mom
Even before she gave birth to her own two children, Kelly Clarkson played the role of step-mom to Brandon Blackstock’s two children from his previous marriage. His daughter, Savannah, was born in 2002, and his son, Seth, was born in 2006. Although Clarkson’s two step-children are considerably older than her biological ones, the singer has stated that she loves being a step-mom and the family is very close.
Clarkson loves that Blackstock is a devoted father
Kelly Clarkson says that one of the things she loves most about her husband is what a devoted father he is to all four of his children. In a 2016 interview with Ryan Seacrest, Clarkson says that she loves “watching my husband love on his daughter all the time, you know, go to her events and just be there and, like, be present is, like, hard to watch but beautiful to watch. I know that my kids are going to have that.”
Brandon Blackstock is also a devoted husband
Although Brandon Blackstock likes to keep a low profile, he is also very supportive of his wife’s career. Occasionally, he will step out on the red carpet with her, or make a guest appearance on stage at one of her shows. According to Kelly, he is even more supportive behind the scenes.
