Who Is Luke Bryan’s Wife?

There aren’t a lot of celebrity couples with marriages that stand the test of time. Celebrities often have demanding schedules that can make it difficult to put in the time and effort that’s required to make a marriage work. There are a few couples, however, that make it look easy. Country superstar Luke Bryan and his wife seem even happier than they were when they got married over a decade ago. 

Who is Luke Bryan?

Luke Bryan is now known as a chart-topping country music artist, but he began his career as a songwriter, according to Biography. When he was a kid, Bryan’s musical talents shone when he started writing songs for his church youth group. He also played in a band during his high school years. 

Bryan attended college in Georgia, and then worked for his father. He decided to move to Nashville to pursue his dream of becoming a published songwriter. While learning about publishing, Bryan continued to write and demo songs. He signed (as a writer) with Roger Murrah soon after moving to Nashville. 

Kerri Edwards, Bryan’s manager, met him while he was pitching songs for Murrah. She worked with him in the publishing field for a few years, and then realized he had real potential as a performer. Several labels agreed that he had potential, but they felt he wasn’t quite ready. After several rejections, he signed with Capital Records in 2004. 

Bryan released his debut album, I’ll Stay Me, in 2007. The song “All My Friends Say” stayed on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for more than 30 weeks. In 2009, Bryan had his first two No. 1 singles on his second album.

By 2013, Bryan was one of the hottest names in country music, and his fourth album blew fans away with five No. 1 singles. In fact, the album Crash My Party was later honored as the Academy of Country Music Album of the Decade. Bryan broke his own record in 2015 when his fifth album produced six No. 1 singles. 

Bryan has become one of country music’s most successful artists, with seven studio albums and four compilations. He has received several honors, including awards from the American Country Awards, the Academy of Country Music, and the Country Music Association. In 2017, he joined the reboot of American Idol as a judge, along with Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. 

Is Luke Bryan married?

Bryan and his wife, Caroline Boyer, met while they were in college, according to Country Living. The two hit it off, and Bryan claims he knew right away that she was the one. It took Caroline a bit longer, however, and they actually broke up for about five years. After he graduated, he went off to Nashville to pursue his career while she finished college. 

They reunited after running into each other when Bryan was playing a gig in Statesboro. He invited her to a Christmas party with his family, and their relationship picked right up with they left off years earlier.

Soon after, Bryan took Boyer on a date then told her he had found a house he wanted her to see. He blindfolded her, telling her he wanted to surprise her. When she removed her blindfold, they were in front of the Nashville Parthenon. Bryan was down on one knee, proposing. The couple was married on December 8, 2006. They had their first son, Thomas Boyer Bryan, in March 2008. Their second son, Tatum Christopher Bryan, was born two years later. 

In 2014, tragedy struck Bryan’s family. His brother-in-law passed away, leaving his nieces and nephew without parents (his sister had passed away seven years earlier). Bryan and Boyer adopted the children–Jordan, Kris, and Til–and are now a happy family of seven. 

How do they stay so happy together?

After nearly 14 years of marriage, Bryan and Boyer seem happier than ever. That’s no easy feat, especially when one half of the couple is a huge celebrity with a chaotic schedule. Add in the recent stress of coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantines, and it’s downright miraculous that any couple can get along as well as these two. 

They both agree that it takes a lot of work to keep the marriage successful, and it’s not always sunshine and rainbows. They have their arguments just like any couple, but they always work together to fix their problems. They strive to provide a good example for their children, making sure they know what it takes to make a healthy relationship.
