Is there are a new celebrity relationship on the horizon? That’s what we’re all wondering after seeing a clip circulating social media that appears to show Rob Kardashian on a date.
Instagram star Aileen Gisselle posted a lovey-dovey video of Kardashian to her account on Monday, Aug. 3. But she hasn’t said much beyond that, making it hard to tell the actual status of their relationship. While we wait for more details, here’s what we know about Gisselle and her relationship with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum so far.
Who is Aileen Gisselle?
Gisselle is famous on Instagram, boasting over 250,000 followers on her account. A mother-of-one, she is known for her fashionable style, curvaceous body, and friendships with other popular people such as rapper MoneyBagg Yo’s girlfriend Ari Fletcher.
Reports say Gisselle was born on May 30, 1991, but her hometown is unclear. Based on her Instagram page, it appears that she lives in the Los Angeles area with her daughter, Emoniee, with whom she shares a YouTube page. The pair did a Q&A video in March where they opened up about their life, including their favorite activities and qualities about one another.
As far as past romances, Gisselle reportedly dated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather in 2015 and boxer Gervonta Davis in early 2020. But it’s unclear what happened in those rumored relationships.
Rob Kardashian and Aileen Gisselle are sparking dating rumors
On the evening of Aug. 3, Gisselle took to her Instagram story and posted a video showing her at dinner with Kardashian. She applied a filter to the video that projected hearts onto his face and played romantic music as he smiled back at the camera.
Though they have not confirmed a relationship, a source previously told Hollywood Life that Kardashian had been seeing someone.
“Rob is keeping it very low key but apparently he’s dating someone that he really likes,” a source told the outlet in a report published on July 25. “He knows as soon as people find out, it will get turned into a huge deal and all this pressure will be added that he doesn’t want, so he’s being very secretive right now. His family is respecting his privacy, as long as he’s happy, they’re happy.”
If they are together, it would be Kardashian’s first public relationship since he dated Blac Chyna. The pair began dating in early 2016 and went on to welcome a daughter, Dream, that December. But after over a year of being off-and-on, they broke up for good in July 2017 when Kardashian went on an explosive rant and accused the model of cheating on him.
Ever since the split, they have gone back and forth hurling all types of accusations at one another — from drug abuse to domestic violence. Though their personal relationship seems to be nonexistent, both are actively involved in Dream’s life.
