Is San Francisco 49ers Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo Dating Anyone?
Quarterback Jimmy Garappolo was drafted in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. After serving as Tom Brady’s backup for three seasons, he was traded in 2017 to the San Francisco 49ers and given the chance to start in the league.
In 2018, Garoppolo tore his ACL but the next season came back looking stronger than ever and led the team to the Super Bowl. As the face of the Niners franchise, his dating life has been a pretty hot topic and everyone wants to know if the signal caller has a girlfriend. Here are the women Garoppolo has been linked to (including one who’s been scorned) and whether or not he’s in a relationship now.
The women Garoppolo has been linked to
When Garoppolo was still with the Patriots Brady and his wife, Gisele Bündchen, set him up on a date with a model friend of theirs but that relationship didn’t end up working out. Since Garoppolo arrived in California, the athlete has been spotted out and about with a few different women.
In early 2018, he was linked to a model named Alexandra King. TMZ published photos of the pair together at Disneyland but when King referenced their relationship in an Instagram post and was labeled his girlfriend Garoppolo said, “That’s news to me.”
A few weeks later, Garoppolo was spotted by the paparazzi on a date in Los Angeles with adult film star Kiara Mia.
“Jimmy and I had an amazing dinner, and he treated me with so much respect, and class. Honestly, we’re friends,” Mia told TMZ at the time.
The two were not seen out together after that.
Bad blood with King
When Garoppolo suffered his season-ending injury in September of 2018, his name was back in the headlines with King’s name. And the model proved she was a little ticked off at his comment denying they were an item and the reports that he left her for Mia.
When the signal caller was carted off the field, King took to Instagram and posted the word “Karma” with a smiley face emoji. She ended up deleting it but not before SportsGossip.com captured a screenshot of the message.
Is Garoppolo dating anyone now?
Reports about Garoppolo’s dating life have really quieted down since 2018 and the quarterback has stayed mum on any talk of girlfriend.
The athlete spoke to SF Gate about the interest in his private life these days and being in the spotlight.
“Life is different now,” he said. “My life, off the field — I’ve never really been big on being very public with things even on social media. I’m not on there a ton. But my life’s looked at differently. I’m under a microscope. It’s like [head coach] Kyle [Shanahan] said: ‘It is a good learning experience. I just have to take it in stride.’”
If Garoppolo is in a relationship at the moment it’s something he isn’t ready to go public with and given how well the 49ers have played, his fans certainly don’t mind that he chose to stay focused on football.
