On stage, these boys are some of the best performers in the world. In the kitchen, however, it’s somewhat of a different story. Who is the best cook of the K-pop idols in BTS? Here’s what fans are saying about these performers and one of their recent episodes of RUN BTS.

The BTS members cooked for a ‘RUN BTS’ episode

Fans don’t have to wonder any longer how these guys would do in a kitchen. The topic of one Run BTS episode was cooking, where two members prepared a dish to the directions of the other members, including Jin.

One of the two pairs was Taehyung (V) and Jungkook, two of the younger members of this group. Taehyung and Jungkook were creative with their plating and super precise (and careful) with their cutting. Jimin made a few jokes while pouring into his concoction with RM.

Can the BTS members cook? Fans weigh in

Aside from joking around in the kitchen during a RUN BTS, these BTS boys often comment on cooking. If you ask fans, though, some have different thoughts regarding the best cook in this boy band.

One Twitter user noted, “Yoongi’s brother is an excellent chef and although they don’t meet frequently, but whenever they do, he cooks for our Yoongi. Yoongi himself is a great chef and all of BTS agrees that he is one of the best among them in that aspect.”

“ALL HAIL TO THE BEST COOK, DANCER, JOKER, MOST TALENTED, FUNNIEST, AND MOST HANDSOME BOY IN OUR GALAXY. KIM SEOKJIN Y’ALL!! I love you. Our Jinnie thank you for everything and pls never stop spreading positivity. We’re always here for you remember that,” another Twitter user said.

Jin has his own mukbang live streamed series, titled ‘Eat Jin’

Understandably, though, the boys are pretty busy, and presumably don’t have time to cook all of their own meals. Especially with their success in recent years, these K-pop idols have either been touring around the world, recording music, doing interviews, chatting on live streams, or writing music.

Fans do know, however, what the BTS members love to eat. While on The Late Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, RM shared that fried chicken and beer is a classic late-night snack in South Korea.

For a few other interviews, the boys shared their favorite American fast food places, including Panda Express, Shake Shack, and In-N-Out Burger. Jin even has his own live stream where he shows off some of his favorite foods, nicknamed “Eat Jin” by BTS fans.

This mukbang is similar to the V Lives of other members, where Jin talks about what’s happening in his life and with BTS’ music. Fans can see Jin, as well as the other BTS members during their now-postponed Map of the Soul world tour.

Music by BTS, including the recently released album, Map of the Soul: 7, is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and most major streaming platforms.
