Who is the Next Bachelorette, Hannah Brown?
Bachelor Nation, get ready for your next bachelorette, 24-year-old Hannah Brown. She’s gearing up for the 24th season of The Bachelor and Bachelorette franchise after being sent home by Colton Underwood.

How she found out
Brown was at home in Alabama after getting sent home by Underwood when she got a call from the host of the show, Chris Harrison.
“Chris Harrison FaceTimed me and told me I was the next Bachelorette,” Brown told People. “I think I screamed, cried and then freaked out. It was not expected. But I wanted it so bad!”
She’s from Alabama
Brown was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She attended college at the University of Alabama where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications in 2017. She was active in the university’s chapter of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority.
Brown is a pageant girl
Brown has a history of participating in pageants. Pageant drama appeared on the most recent season of The Bachelor when Brown and her fellow contestant, Caelynn Miller-Keyes shared some words.
Brown’s been competing in pageants since the age of 15 and has competed in state-wide pageants as well as national competitions.
After being crowned Miss Alabama USA she went on to compete for the title of Miss USA but lost to Nebraska’s Sarah Rose Summers. Miller-Keyes, Miss North Carolina, was first runner-up.
Brown’s ready to get engaged
Brown is fully prepared to get a ring on her finger during her season of The Bachelorette. She told People she’s looking for “someone with a good heart,” and that she believes in the franchise’s process.
“This is something I really believe in,” Brown said. “And at the end of the day, I want somebody who loves me and chooses me. I’m ready for my moment.”
She’s an interior decorator
Brown worked as a hair stylist and makeup artist during her college years, her LinkedIn profile says, according to Entertainment Tonight. After college, Brown pursued another line of work. She became an interior designer.
“It quickly became clear that this job was not just a hobby, and after graduation I decided to continue my work study under the designers at Gracefully Done,” Brown wrote in her profile.
“My favorite part of designing and decorating is forming relationships with my clients and being able to meet specific needs for creating their dream space.”
She’ll be ‘da** entertaining’
During the taping of the Women Tell All episode of the show, where all the contestants discuss their season, Brown discussed what she would hope for if she were to be chosen as the next bachelorette.
“I would love to have the opportunity to continue on shedding that layer of just trying to be whatever I think people want me to be and just being myself,” Brown said.
“I really believe in this process and I do think you can fall in love here and be in love and find your person, so if it could be me, that would be great,” she added. “I think it’d be damn entertaining. I can guarantee that.”
