‘Who Killed Sara?’ has already been renewed for Season 2

Fans will be delighted to know that Who Killed Sara? has already been renewed for Season 2. If you’ve watched the first season in its entirety, then you know that we still don’t know who has killed Sara, so there is a lot of mystery left to unpack.

In fact, when Season 2 does debut, we can expect to see some new faces. Actors Daniel Giménez Cacho, Matías Novoa and Antonio de la Vega will all be joining the cast. According to the Season 2 preview, Cacho portrays a psychiatrist who may have treated Sara when she was alive.

‘Who Killed Sara?’ Season 2 plot details

The main mystery that still needed to be unpacked is the identity of Sara’s murderer. Thus far, the number one suspect appears to be Mariana Lazcano (Claudia Ramírez), who discovered that Sara was pregnant with her husband, César’s (Ginés García Millán) baby. However, considering what we’ve seen about the show thus far, Mariana might be too obvious of a suspect.

The Season 2 trailer steps away from the Lazcano family and focuses on Sara herself since Alex has uncovered her journal, which was full of secrets and details. He also uncovered the fact Sara was dealing with suicidal ideation.

Also, since the Season 2 trailer is so focused on Sara, some fans suspect that she’s still alive. Since Who Killed Sara? certainly has elements of the classic telenovela; we wouldn’t put it past Netflix to include this massive plot twist.
