Hannah Brown‘s season of The Bachelorette might have gone differently if she had The Bachelorette Bible in her hands. Why didn’t Becca Kufrin pass the book to the season 15 lead?

What is ‘The Bachelorette Bible,’ and who wrote it?

Rachel Lindsay, Kaitlyn Bristowe, and JoJo Fletcher gave Becca Kufrin the unique Bachelorette Bible on the lead’s first night in the mansion. The former stars gave the new lead the book before she met her guys. Kufrin dug out the book and planned to give it to the new star, Clare Crawley, before her season.

“They have some great things written in here,” Kufrin told Crawley during the Bachelor Happy Hour Podcast. “I think we need to add our own and write some more stuff in, and then I’ll send it to you. This was so good to carry on and pass down.”

Lindsay also gave Crawley some tidbits of advice during the podcast. She explained that a producer gave her the best advice.

“Truly be open to everybody that comes through because you will be beautifully surprised at the men you meet on your season,” Lindsay told Crawley.

Why didn’t Hannah Brown receive ‘The Bachelorette Bible’ from Becca Kufrin?

During the podcast, Lindsay and Kufrin discussed why they didn’t pass the book onto Brown.

“I don’t know why we didn’t give it to Hannah,” Kufrin admitted.

Lindsay explained that the book was initially created for Kufrin. There was no Bachelorette Bible before season 14.

“I blame you because you had it, and you didn’t give it to Hannah,” Lindsay laughed as she pointed the finger at Kufrin. “I blame you.”

The Bachelor Live on Stage co-host passed the blame.

“I’m going to blame it on my mom then because it was in her basement for the past two years,” Kufrin said.

So, the women did not intentionally leave out Brown. Kufrin left the book packed away and regrets not giving it to the Dancing With the Stars winner. The two women plan to make a special book to give to Brown.

When will Clare Crawley’s season of ‘The Bachelorette’ start?

The Bachelorette is heading into production soon, according to Warner Horizon Unscripted. The show is the first to head back to work since the industry-wide shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).

“The cast will start traveling very soon because there has to be a quarantine period,” a person familiar with the production told Variety.

The new season will not be at the familiar Bachelor Mansion, but at a private area in Southern California. There won’t be any traveling like in past seasons. The entire cast and crew will be tested for the coronavirus when they arrive, and undergo regular testing and temperature checks throughout filming.

If all goes as planned, the show will air this fall on ABC.
