Why Jenni ‘Jwoww’ Farley Would Choose to Be Stranded With Pauly Delvecchio

Jenni and Pauly’s history didn’t influence her decision

During the early days of Jersey Shore, DelVecchio and Farley hit it off instantly, hooking up within their first week in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. Though the two never dated, the spark between Farley and DelVecchio reignited during Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Many fans thought DelVecchio and Farley would hook up after flirting heavily during a night out in New Orleans. However, that wasn’t the case.

“JWoww, I will never disrespect you like that,” he told Farley as she kissed him on the cheek. “I will never make you do anything that would jeopardize anything,” DelVecchio added, likely referring to her breakup with Zack “24” Carpinello, which was still relevant at the time. Despite his paramount respect for her, that’s not why Farley would choose to be stranded with DelVecchio on an island.

Jenni had valid reasons for not choosing her other roommates

In a video for her YouTube channel, Farley answered Jersey Shore-related questions from fans. “If you could be stranded on an island with one of the roomies, who would you pick?” one fan asked. Many fans might think Farley’s first choice would be Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, but that’s not the case. According to Farley, Polizzi would do well in a zombie apocalypse setting, but living on an island might prove challenging for her. Shockingly, DelVecchio was really Farley’s only choice in this situation.

Farley had several reasons not to choose any of her other roommates. “It could not be Vinny because all he’ll do is talk politics,” Farley said. “He’ll somehow try to dethrone the number one monkey on that island and take over,” she added, further justifying her decision. As for Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino? Farley thinks he “would probably try and curl coconuts all day,” deeming him useless in the fictional situation. Though Deena Cortese and Farley are close, she said “No, I just can’t,” regarding having her stranded with her. That’s because Farley thinks Cortese’s anxiety would increase her own. “I’m going to pass on Angelina,” Farley said, adding: “[and] I’m going to pass on Ron because he’ll try and end up on Instagram Stories.”  

Jenni would want to be stranded with Pauly because he’s ‘crafty’

Farley ultimately decided if she had to be stranded on an island with one of her roommates, she would choose DelVecchio. “Pauly’s low-key very intelligent,” Farley explained. “[He’s] very crafty.” She did admit it would be a “toss-up between Nicole and Pauly” depending on the situation. If zombies were present, she would hands-down choose Polizzi because “that b*tch is so obsessed with zombies that she will survive.”
