Why Travis Barker ‘Felt Terrible’ After a Dramatic Night With Kim Kardashian West
The Blink 182 has been famous for some time. Over the years, Travis Barker dated actors, reality stars, and more. He’s currently reportedly dating Kourtney Kardashian, but one of the celebrity relationships he reportedly had before was with her sister, Kim. This is why he felt terrible after a dramatic night with her years ago.
Travis Barker was married to Shanna Moakler
The drummer and the former Miss USA, Shanna Moakler were married from 2004 to 2008. They have two children named Landon Asher and Alabama Luella.
The couple had a short-lived reality show called Meet the Barkers. Barker survived a plane crash during their last year of marriage. He reconciled with Moakler after they were on the outs, but they later fell out again.
Barker accused her of cheating while he was recovering in the hospital. She also claimed he cheated during their marriage, according to People.
He claimed Moakler poured a drink on Kim Kardashian West
Barker tried to move on after his split with Moakler soon with Paris Hilton. “It was actually a sad time ’cause my wife and I had just split up, and literally the weekend after we split up Paris and I met each other, and we were having the time of our life in every country, flying from country to country,” Barker told Complex. He also then had a close relationship with Hilton’s friend.
Barker went from the reality star to her assistant. Kim Kardashian West worked for Hilton at the time and the drummer became interested in her.
“Kim and I, we just became good friends,” he said. “When Shanna and I broke up, I was very clear in my book saying that [Kim] was nothing but a sweetheart, and I have the utmost respect for her, and I can’t say anything negative about her.”
He wrote in the book that Moakler and Kardashian West crossed paths in a club. He claimed Moakler poured a drink on the future reality star in his tell-all book, Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death, and Drums, Drums, Drums. “I felt terrible,” he wrote, according to Radar Online. “It just wasn’t meant to be.”
He later moved on to more stars
Barker also had a fling with Hilton’s other close friend. Lindsay Lohan would hang out with the reality star and apparently she had a small flirtation with the drummer.
Barker and Rita Ora later dated around 2015. They went public with their relationship by posting pictures together on social media. But Moakler spoke out publicly against their relationship.
“Our marriage was plagued by his addictions to pills and other women,” she told The Daily Mail. Moakler then gave a warning to the singer.
“He constantly cheated on me,” she said. “Living with him was like being on a rollercoaster – he’s a Jekyll and Hyde character. I wish Rita good luck – she’ll need it.”
Barker has obviously been involved with multiple big stars during a certain period of time. Moakler has seemingly played a part in a few of those relationships and Barker felt bad at how that backfired on Kardashian West.
