Why Wasn’t Frankie Jonas Part of His Brothers’ Famous Band?
Frankie Jonas is the fourth Jonas brother, sometimes adorably referred to as the “Bonus Jonas”. Although he was not part of the well-known band that his older brothers formed, it certainly doesn’t mean he was forgotten!
Frankie walked on the red carpet numerous times and even made appearances on the family’s Disney Channel television show. He was so loved by fans, that people often wonder – why wasn’t Frankie Jonas part of his brother’s much-loved band, the Jonas Brothers?
He was just a little too young
As it turns out, it wasn’t that Frankie was unwanted or not good enough to be in the band. It was simply that he was a little bit too young, and didn’t make the cut at the time. That doesn’t mean his brothers excluded him or didn’t connect with him.
Frankie was very much a part of family activities, and Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas enjoyed spending time with him whenever they could. The youngest Jonas brother was often photographed with his three older siblings, as they joked around and doted on him as any loving brothers would do.
When did the band stop making music?
Much to the disappointment of fans everywhere, the Jonas Brothers finally decided to stop making music together in 2013. Although they still remain very close, they decided that as a band, it was time to go their separate ways. Although it was an emotional decision for everyone involved, the brothers feel that it was in their best interest to pursue individual endeavors and split up, and begin the next phase of their lives separately.
What is Frankie Jonas up to now?
As most fans are well aware, little Frankie Jonas did a great job at growing up. He has gone from being a cute, playful young boy to quite the mature, handsome young man in the blink of an eye. He did some amazing work on the family’s show in the past, and he has been known to lend his voice to the world of animation. Frankie recently has been working alongside a young new artist named Alli Haber, co-writing and producing her music.
What about the other brothers?
The Jonas brothers have managed to stay in the spotlight, happily making the announcement they are officially back together. Celebrating their comeback with a new song and music video that celebrates their significant others, the brother’s announcement left fans jumping for joy! Their new video features Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Danielle Jonas, and Sophie Turner. The video was filmed in England and features the three couples, all while capturing the love that they have for one another.
Will Frankie Jonas be part of the band now that he is older?
Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear so. The Jonas Brothers are making a comeback with just the three original brothers, Nick, Joe, and Kevin. However, 18-year-old Frankie does seem to have an amazing talent, so it is no surprise he is focusing his efforts in other places. Going by the name Mephisto, Frankie plans to help other artists in addition to Alli Haber write and produce music.
What else is Frankie involved in?
Frankie Jonas definitely knows how to keep busy! He is currently receiving a college education at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. Frankie has made appearances in some of his brothers’ videos and is also a doting uncle to the children of Kevin Jonas. It would seem as if the youngest Jonas is following in his older brothers’ footsteps in the world of music, as he is extremely busy with producing, and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon!
