Will Princess Beatrice Still Invite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to Her Wedding?
Princess Beatrice is getting ready to tie the knot with Italian mogul Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in what should be a star-studded wedding. But with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepping away from the royal family, they might not get invited to the royal ceremony. Princess Beatrice to tie the knot
Beatrice and Mozzi actually met when they were children. The two grew apart over the years before reconnecting at Meghan and Harry’s wedding in 2018. Their romance heated up quickly and this past September, Beatrice confirmed her engagement on social media.
The couple has not announced when they are planning on tying the knot but the wedding will likely be scheduled for this year. Whether it happens in the spring or fall, of course, is yet to be seen.
While Princess Beatrice has not released any details about the wedding, she has probably ironed out a guest list for the ceremony.
The two have not released the official guest list, but attendees will likely include members of the royal family, friends of the bride and groom, and a few celebrities.
Princess Beatrice announces her engagement
Although Beatrice has been very quiet about her wedding plans, she did release a slew of engagement photos on social media. Taking to Instagram, the couple posted the images along with a special message about their engagement.
“We are extremely happy to be able to share the news of our recent engagement,” they wrote. “We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can’t wait to actually be married.
The pair added that they share a lot of interests and are confident that they will enjoy many years together. Based on the photos, there is no denying that they share a lot of love.
For those that do not know, Mozzi made a name for himself in the real estate business in the UK. He also comes from Italian nobility, and his father is Count Alessandro Mapelli-Mozzi.
Princess Beatrice, meanwhile, is the oldest daughter of Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew. Because Andrew was forced to step down from his post in the royal family, it is unclear how involved he will be in the wedding plans.
Who will make it to Beatrice’s wedding?
The guest list, of course, remains one of the biggest mysteries about Princess Beatrice’s upcoming wedding. According to Express, we know for sure that most members of the royal family will be invited to the ceremony.
Beatrice’s parents, Andrew and Sarah, are almost guaranteed to attend the event, along with Queen Elizabeth. Beatrice was present for Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding in 2011, so there is a good chance they will also get an invite.
When it comes to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, chances are they will also be invited to the wedding. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex invited Beatrice to their nuptials in 2018, so it would be a big surprise if she did not return to the favor.
The only hiccup is that Meghan and Harry are no longer senior members of the royal family. The pair announced their exit earlier this year and are currently living in Canada. They stepped down to avoid being in the spotlight, though we have a feeling they would show up for the wedding if Beatrice asked them.

Aside from the guest list, we know that Beatrice’s wedding is going to be a lavish affair. After all, Beatrice is an important member of the royal family and having the wedding of her dreams is well within her means.
Like royal weddings in previous years, Princess Beatrice will likely wear a tiara from Queen Elizabeth’s jewelry collection, though she may switch things up when it comes to her wedding dress.
Like Kate and her sister, Princess Eugenie, Beatrice might have her dress designed by someone outside of the U.K. It is also unclear which tiara Beatrice will choose, though she will likely look back at other royal weddings for ideas.
Unfortunately, we probably will not know more about Princess Beatrice’s wedding until we get closer to the date. If Beatrice and Mozzi tie the knot this spring, then we shouldn’t have to wait long for more details.
