Will Smith Says Sex With Jada Pinkett Smith Is Great, but 1 Part of Their Relationship Is Even Better
Jada Pinkett Smith‘ and Will Smith‘s sex life seems to be an open book. Some fans even think they share too much. Will Smith’s autobiography, Will, is no exception. He describes his sexual exploits from high school to his marriage. However, he also credits Jada with something much better than sex.
Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith’s sex life is one for the record books
Will doesn’t mince words when he describes sex with Jada Pinkett Smith. He’s not graphic or obscene, but the excitement of their early relationship is palpable. They started dating in February, 1995 after Will received divorce papers from Sheree Zampino.
“We drank every day, and had sex multiple times every day, for four straight months,” he wrote. “I started to wonder if this was a competition. Either way, as far as I was concerned, there were only two possibilities: (1) I was going to satisfy this woman sexually, or (2) I was going to die trying.”
The 1 thing Will Smith says is better than sex with Jada Pinkett Smith
Both Will and Jada are philosophical intellectuals. So, as much as they are physical animals, they spend much more time satisfying their souls.
“But the heart and soul of our union was then, and is still today, intense, luminescent conversation,” he wrote. “Even to the writing of this very sentence, if Jada and I begin a conversation, it is a minimum two-hour endeavor. And it is not uncommon that we talk for five or six hours at a stretch.”
Jada even hosts an entire series of conversations, Red Table Talk. Will said the conversations he had with Jada go even longer than a Red Table episode, and they began as soon as they started dating. So, what do they talk about?
“Our joy of pondering and perusing the mysteries of the universe, through the mirror of each other’s experience, is unbridled ecstasy,” he wrote. “Even in the depths of disagreement, there is nothing in this world that either of us more cherishes or enjoys than the opportunity to grow and learn from each other through passionate communication.”
Their connection may go back much earlier
In trying to describe the depth of his connection to Jada, Will considered spiritual explanations. He’s starting to consider that they might have known each other prior to the ’90s.
“I never really bought into the whole ‘past lives’ thing,” he wrote. “I would hear people say, ‘We must have known each other in a former life.’ I always thought that was corny. But those first couple of months with Jada transformed me from a disbeliever to an agnostic.”
Well, that’s progress. Will isn’t saying he and Jada definitely knew each other in a past life, but something about their connection is more than physical.
“We fit together so naturally, and our energies combined exponentially in a way that felt like old friends more than new lovers,” he wrote. “We had an unspoken language, and everything we focused on flourished.”
