Willow Smith Revealed To Jada Pinkett Smith What Her Introduction To Sex Was — ‘Walking in on You and Daddy’
It’s no secret that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett’s parenting style is unique. Instead of being strict with Willow and Jaden, they allow their children the freedom to do what they want. However, Jada Pinkett did not intend for her daughter to be introduced to sex by walking in on her parents.

Jada Pinkett Smith, her mother, Adrienne “Gammy” Banfield Norris, and Willow came together for a Red Table Talk about sex.
“I did not want Willow to have shame of any kind,” Jada Pinkett explained about why she wanted to talk to her daughter about sex. “She needs to be at that table to hear it all.”
The 49-year-old mother wants her children to be able to talk openly about their sexuality. This Red Table Talk was only one of many that the three women had about sex. Jada Pinkett feels that people have trouble talking about sex, especially women, and she doesn’t want her daughter to feel that way.
“If I have to sit up here and tell her how she has to be careful in these streets because of all the harms that may come to her because she is a woman,” Jada Pinkett began. “Then, I am damn sure not leaving out the good stuff.”
Her daughter agrees that it is essential to talk to women about all of the pleasures of sex, rather than only the bad things.
Willow revealed to her mother how she was first introduced to sex
Jada Pinkett explained that she did not talk to her mother, Gammy, about sex.
“We just didn’t have all the information you guys have,” she tells Willow. “I know that a lot of young boys and young girls are learning about sex through pornography, online, and on social media.”
The actor asks her daughter what her first experience was learning about sex, and is shocked to find out that it involves her and Will.
“My introduction to sex was obviously walking in on you and Daddy,” Willow admits. “That was the first introduction to sex. I think it was in Aspen. I was going downstairs to get some juice. I saw for a little moment, and then I ran away. I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is so crazy. What did I just see?'”
While Jada Pinkett is shocked to hear about this encounter, she wants to know how Willow felt about it.
“It wasn’t like I was seeing everything,” Willow recalls. “The room, it was dark. It was silhouetted.” Then she describes how she felt. “I just overstepped a boundary. I wasn’t supposed to be there. It was like if I walked in on you meditating. When Mommy is meditating, don’t get in her business.”
Jada Pinkett and Gammy are surprised by Willow’s first introduction to sex, but they don’t think anything is wrong with it. They continue the conversation about experiences, teachings, and the celebrations of sex.
