Bravo’s newest reality TV series Winter House looks to have no shortage of love triangles, makeout sessions, and drama. The show’s inaugural season premiered on Oct. 20, 2022, and fans have already seen Austen Kroll hook up with Ciara Miller. Austen is a staple on Southern Charm, while Ciara is a member of the Summer House cast. However, things are about to get a little more complicated when Ciara’s former roommate Lindsay Hubbard shows up.

Who are Lindsay Hubbard and Austen Kroll on ‘Winter House?’

Lindsay Hubbard is one of the original cast members of Summer House, but she has developed a close friendship with Austen Kroll over the past few years. Lindsay is often known for the drama she brings to the show and isn’t afraid to speak her mind. She’s gotten into several confrontations on Summer House, including current Winter House roommates Amanda Batula and Paige DeSorbo. Lindsay owns her own PR boutique and currently lives in New York City.

Austen Kroll, on the other hand, is a craft beer expert. He launched his own brand called Trop Hop after joining the Southern Charm cast in season 4. He and Craig Conover, another Southern Charm castmate and Winter House roomie, have had plenty of ups and downs over the years, but the two have remained friends.

In classic Lindsay fashion, the PR professional showed up to Winter House’s luxury digs with a case of Fireball in hand and immediately rallied everyone together to start taking shots. The alcohol and excitement of being on vacation quickly went to Lindsay’s head, and before long, she told Austen her true feelings for him. The Summer House OG recently sat down with Entertainment Tonight and gave some context to the situation.

“I was so drunk on Fireball,” Lindsay says in the interview. “That was my first night there and I just went balls to the wall, literally, on Fireball — and Austen and I, which I think is a tribute to our friendship, we have been best friends for over three years and we kind of kept it under wraps. We’ve obviously never felt the need to promote our friendship in any public platform.”

She also goes on to say that she’s not the only one in their friendship who has drunkenly confessed “wild things to the other one.” As for what Austen has actually said to Lindsay remains to be seen.

Fans have seen Lindsay in several different relationships with roommates like Carl Radke and Everett Western. At one point, it was rumored she was dating Luke Gulbranson, who is also a cast member on Summer House, but that turned out to be more of a friendly hookup. In the most recent season of Summer House, Lindsay brought her longtime boyfriend, Stephen Traversie, to stay in the group’s house for the summer. Still, their tumultuous relationship ended toward the end of the reality show’s season.

On the other hand, Austen spent most of his time on Southern Charm with now ex-girlfriend Madison LeCroy. Austen and Madison’s relationship always seemed somewhat rocky. During Southern Charm Season 6, Madison busted Austen cheating on her with another woman, and the incident was caught on video. Of course, the footage was shown repeatedly on the show, and fans made it clear they believed the rendezvous wasn’t as innocent as Austen claimed. However, in 2019 Madison and Austen both ‘fessed up to cheating on each other. Now, Madison is engaged to someone else, and Austen showed up to Winter House as officially available.
