Who Are Yankees Star Giancarlo Stanton’s Famous Ex-Girlfriends and the Secret Lover He Dumped When Their Relationship Became Public?
Giancarlo Stanton (formerly known as Mike Stanton) began his major league baseball career with the Miami Marlins before he was acquired by the New York Yankees in late 2017. He has been selected to several All-Star games and has won the NL MVP and ALCS MVP.
Stanton is a star in the league, however, he prefers to keep his life away from the baseball diamond private. That’s almost impossible when you play under the bright lights in the Big Apple. But still, he would rather keep his love life and relationship news under wraps so much so that he broke up with one woman recently when it got out that they were seeing each other.

Stanton’s dated quite a few models
In 2018, after meeting at former Yankees pitcher C.C. Sabathia’s softball charity event, Stanton became involved with Sports IIustrated Swimsuit model Chase Carter. While this is the athlete’s most public relationship to date, thanks to some photos of them out and about together, still not much is known about their time together. They called it quits in 2019.
Following their split, Carter began dating another baseball player Cody Bellinger. The two went public with their relationship in 2020. They got engaged in June 2023 and later confirmed that they secretly tied the knot in December 2023. They have two daughters together — Caiden, who was born in November 2021, and Cy, who they welcomed in April 2023.
Just like Carter started seeing another baseball player after Stanton, he moved on with other models.
He was linked to fashion runway model Mariana Santana but there isn’t much out there about their romance as it was thought to be very brief.
He was also said to be involved with fellow model Daiane Sodré, who is retired football star Julian Edelman’s ex-girlfriend. The rumor mill went into high gear when the duo were photographed together during a trip to Brazil. Sodré also accompanied Stanton to see his family in California when they were spotted at The Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills.
In 2022, there were reports about a potential relationship with actress-model Priscilla Quintana. She is known for her role as Jacqueline “Jax” Zhou in The CW series Pandora, as Ruby Gale in the Peacock comedy thriller Based on a True Story, and as Isabella on Freeform’s Good Trouble. She and Stanton were seen at a post-All-Star Game nightclub together and some fans were quick to point to Quintana’s congratulatory Instagram post for him after his MVP win as a clue that there was something going on between them.

Stanton began dating a hospitality worker and influencer named Asiana Jayd “AJ” Hung-Barnes in late 2022. But when news of their fling made headlines in 2024, Stanton reportedly broke up with her.
Sources told Page Six that Hung-Barnes often crashed at Stanton’s New York City pad and stayed in “fancy hotel suites that he discreetly [booked] for her” during the baseball season. She was even thought to have joined the outfielder in Tampa, Florida during the Yankees’ spring training.
Another shared that Stanton “doesn’t like his business being out there” and Hung-Barnes is a little “reckless on social media” as she posted some photos and videos from his homes as well as Yankees Stadium. In one TikTok post, Hung-Barnes even showed off a handwritten note that read, “Aj ♥’s G,” and captioned it: “That I do.”
Soon after, Stanton is believed to have ended things. Hung-Barnes then deleted her Facebook and X profiles and made her Instagram private.
