You Season 3 drops to Netflix on Oct. 15. Several returning cast members and quite a few new faces have been confirmed for the new season. So far, Joe and Love have evaded getting into any legal trouble for their crimes. However, a new character could change things.

Actor Ruthie Rosemont is rumored to play Detective Ruthie Falco in episodes 3 and 4 of You Season 3. A detective getting involved in Love and Joe’s life spells trouble for them. However, the fact that Rosemont is only rumored to appear in two episodes might mean she meets a quick end in the series.

Who is Romy Rosemont?

Rosemont is a 56-year-old actor whose big break came when she landed a role as Carole Hudson in Glee in 2010. Since then Rosemont has been in many other TV series, including Grey’s Anatomy, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Big Sky. Rosemont has a long list of acting credits on television. She is married to Stephen Root and currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Rosemont is rumored to appear in You Season 3 on Netflix.

Who will Rosemont play in ‘You’ Season 3?

It doesn’t appear that the official Instagram or Twitter for You Season 3 has mentioned anything about Rosemont directly. However, there is some pretty solid evidence that she will be in the new season. A fan page for Netflix’s You posted a screenshot of a Twitter conversation asking Rosemont if she really is in season 3. Rosemont responded simply, “yes.”

IMDb also lists You Season 3 Episodes 3 and 4 among Rosemont’s acting credits. The character she will play is listed as Detective Ruthie Falco. A detective entering the scene probably spells trouble for Love and Joe. Detective Falco may arrive in Madre Linda to investigate one of the many murders committed by the couple.

The trailer for You Season 3 might hint at her fate. Although Detective Falco’s face isn’t seen in the trailer, it does show Love and Joe burying a body. In one shot, a woman’s hand with a wedding ring on it is seen falling out of a body bag. Could this be Detective Falco?

An image from You Seasom 3 also shows Joe’s new neighbor Matthew Engler (Scott Speedman) talking to Detective Falco. Joe and Love might kill the detective, but it’s possible she could raise some suspicions about the couple to Matthew first.

Who is returning for ‘You’ Season 3?

There are quite a lot of new cast members for You Season 3, but some familiar faces are on the cast list as well. Of course, Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti will reprise their roles as Joe and Love. Saffron Burrows, who plays Love’s mother Dottie, will also be in the new season. So far, it looks like other familiar faces like Jenna Ortega (Ellie) and Robin Lord Taylor (the real Will Bettelheim) won’t be making an appearance.
