‘You’ Season 3: Shalita Grant and Travis Van Winkle Tease Claustrophobic Scene
You Season 3 will add quite a few new faces to the Netflix series. Shalita Grant and Travis Van Winkle join the cast as Sherry and Cary Conrad, a wealthy couple in Love and Joe’s neighborhood. Despite being centered around a stalker, You isn’t usually scary in the traditional sense. However, it can definitely be creepy and has some scenes that make fans shudder. Grant and Van Winkle teased a claustrophobic scene involving their characters in the upcoming season.

In You Season 3, Joe and Love move to a wealthy neighborhood to raise their baby. There, Love befriends Sherry, a “momfluencer” who invites Love into her inner circle. Sherry is a complicated character who secretly feels threatened by Love. On the outside, she has it all together. She has a podcast, a blog, and a loyal following and seems to be doing pretty well for herself. Sherry is also a mother of twins.
Her husband Cary is the successful owner of a supplement company. He too invites Joe into his inner circle. The couple appears to be the picture of success, but things will no doubt take a turn for the worse when Joe and Love enter their lives.

Many people feel uncomfortable or even panicked in small, confined spaces. In an interview with Grant and Van Winkle, the actors teased a scene in You Season 3 where their characters had to “endure a little bit of claustrophobia.” The experience wasn’t Grant’s favorite to film.
“I don’t really enjoy being too close and like having things too close,” the actor told DC Film Girl. “I do remember rehearsals having to really dial in that this is what it is and I’m going to have to like get over it. And I think I did for the most part but it’s still not my favorite thing.”
Van Winkle admitted that he also has “issues with claustrophobia.” Luckily, it didn’t bother him while filming You Season 3. “Because of the situation we found ourselves in, it was actually so exciting,” teased Van Winkle. “I think it was just really easy to throw yourself into that situation because the setting was just so iconic.”
The actors didn’t reveal any more about the claustrophobic scene in You Season 3, but it will be interesting to learn exactly what they meant when the new season comes out.
