Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid started dating in 2015, and the two of them have been in an on-and-off relationship since then. More recently, however, their romance took a turn when it was announced that Malik and Hadid are expecting a child together.
The couple has been self-isolating with each other amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and it seems that these new developments are bringing them closer together. In fact, a source even claims that they now “believe they are soulmates.”

In late April, TMZ revealed that Malik and Hadid are expecting a child together. The outlet even shared that the couple had already found that their bundle of joy is a girl.
TMZ also noted that Hadid hinted at her pregnancy on Instagram by telling fans that she was foregoing alcohol during a meal. She uploaded a photo of a pasta dish that she made with the caption, “Yummy + spicy vodka sauce (but have no vodka… so without, but still gooood).”

Malik and Hadid have been quarantining together, and a source told Hollywood Life that they have also been adjusting to spending so much time in one place with each other.
“[Gigi] usually doesn’t have more than a few days off at a time because of her crazy work schedule so this is a big change,” the insider said. “It’s not an easy time for anyone but she is making the best of it and taking this time to appreciate the little things in life. It’s been good for her relationship with Zayn… They are able to just be together without all the outside pressures and that’s a great thing.”
Meanwhile, another source told the outlet that Malik and Hadid “can’t get enough of each other” and that they “believe they are each others soulmates.” This has reportedly helped them get back together and give their relationship another try after breaking up with each other several times.

It looks like quarantine and pregnancy are taking Malik and Hadid’s relationship to new levels. In fact, this has even brought up the question of engagement and marriage.
A reported insider shared with Hollywood Life that this has been on Malik and Hadid’s minds as well, and it would not be surprising to those close to them if they decide to elope soon.
“Zayn is determined to marry Gigi,” the source explained. “They haven’t made any announcements about an engagement but it’s only a matter of time. He is very eager to make her his wife. It won’t shock any of their friends if they secretly get married before the baby is born. They can always do the big wedding after.”
The source continued: “Zayn and Gigi have had their ups and downs but now everything is on the up and up with the baby on the way. Friends and family have seen the instant change in both of them with the news of having a child… It really has put a spark in their relationship.”
