Ariana Grande is returning to music on the heels of the 2025 awards show season. Well, sort of. The Grammy winner, 31, who landed her first Oscar nomination—but ultimately didn’t take home the statuette—for her turn as Glinda in the movie adaptation of the beloved Broadway musical on March 2, 2025, has announced a deluxe edition of her 2024 studio album, “Eternal Sunshine,” is coming. And soon!

The deluxe edition of Grande’s ‘Eternal Sunshine’ album drops on March 28

After all Wicked, all the time, Grande signaled her return to music in a March 10, 2025, Instagram post. Featuring a photo of her wearing a white dress while floating midair under a spotlight, Grande revealed to her 376 million followers the deluxe edition of “Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead” is coming at the end of March 2025. She captioned the post, “eternal sunshine deluxe,” alongside heart and box emojis, signing off with the March 28, 2025, release date. (That’s just 18 days away at the time of writing.)

She didn’t, however, share what’s new on the deluxe edition in the way of collaborators or the tracklist. Grande’s announcement comes nearly a year to the day after “Eternal Sunshine” was released on March 8, 2024. It includes tracks such as “bye,” “the boy is mine,” “true story,” and the titular “Eternal Sunshine.”

Fans shared their excitement in the comments. One jokingly wrote, “brb tryna catch my breath,” while another added “SHE’S BACK !!!”

Grande’s announcement comes after her years-long pursuit to play the role of Glinda as well as her decision to put music—and all of her other ventures besides acting—on pause while filming Wicked. The director of the award-winning blockbuster Jon M. Chu even remarked Grande might’ve lost money on the project due to her singular focus.
