Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis’ $17 Million Beach Home Has Been Torn Down
Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have stayed out of the spotlight since Sean “Diddy” Combs’ arrest. Rumors suggested Ashton could be dragged into the court case, which seemingly resulted in the couple taking a step back. Recently, Kutcher was spotted filming for Ryan Murphy’s new film. In the meantime, the couple also decided to tear down their $17 million beach home. Here’s what to know.
Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis tore down their $17 million California beach home years after mudslide damage

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are making big moves behind the scenes. According to photos from Realtor.com, the couple’s custom-built, two-home $17 million Carpinteria, California, estate is going through significant construction. One of the homes on the six-acre estate has been torn to the ground.
Property records show Kutcher bought the two-home mansion for just over $10 million in 2017. The home featured a main house and a day cottage with six bedrooms total. The cottage has now been demolished, with construction crews leaving a bare patch of land where it once stood. As for the main house, crews removed the two-story porch, the outdoor stairs, the chimney, and another raised porch at the back of the property. The couple also had the two-story main house gutted.
From December 2022 to March 2023, mudslides and flooding affected the home and grounds, likely leading to Kutcher and Kunis’ decision for a complete property overhaul. The waterway running alongside the property brought detritus, likely resulting in damage.
While the couple embarks on tearing down their beach home, they reside in a custom-built farmhouse in Beverly Hills.
