‘Below Deck’: Bruno Duarte Adds a Surprising New Job to His Resume
Deckhand Bruno Duarte from Below Deck has advanced to both yacht chef and chief stew. He’s also created an Instagram page dedicated to vegan baking too.

But now his career has shifted in a completely different direction as he announced in February 2020 that he is the new “COLT Man,” according to a now-deleted tweet. Colt Studios produces all-male pornography through “film, video and a wide variety of all-male products,” according to the site.
Durate shared a photo with his partner, Jose, who will also star in an adult film scene. “Sneak Peak @coltstudiogroup,” Duarte captioned the photo in a now-deleted post from mid-February.
The studio connected with the Duarte
COLT director and owner John Rutherford shared in a release that he reached out to Duarte via Instagram about a possible collaboration. Rutherford said he was a fan of the show and enjoyed the scene where Duarte became the table decoration during a “naked sushi” dinner, according to Out.

Below Deck viewers likely remember when Duarte became the “naked sushi” model during season 5. He rocked a pair of red boxer shorts, a captain’s hat, and … sushi. Chef Matt Burns carefully places each sushi roll on Duarte’s body and they wait for the guests. Of course, the group of male guests had plenty of comments and seemed simply delighted by the presentation.
Rutherford said he contacted Duarte via Instagram and told him he was a big fan. He and Duarte stayed in touch and ultimately met in Paris for a photoshoot.
He will appear in a calendar and a film scene
Out reports that Duarte and his partner will appear in both a COLT film scene and the 2021 COLT Couples Calendar.

“Since our conception back in 1967, COLT has always been synonymous with hairy, masculine men in our annual COLT calendars, magazines and movies,” Rutherford shared. “Bruno and Jose are all that and a real-life couple to boot…. Their scene sizzles. I’ve seen the footage and it is like the viewer is a fly on the wall watching the two COLT Men getting it on without knowing anyone is watching.”
Duarte teased the upcoming film on Twitter. He shared several posts and video that have since been removed. “Whats going on???? @COLTstudiogroup and I have a little surprise. Retweet and comment below what you [think],” he wrote in a now-deleted tweet. Duarte also shared a racy photo of himself along with the post. He also re-tweeted COLT’S Twitter reveal too. “Look who’s going to be a #COLTman very soon!!!! Bruno is looking good with that #Moustache.”
The film series should launch this summer and will be accessible to COLT members-only online. X Biz reports that the first series should drop in June as a bundle.
