Blanco said he prefers to offer homemade gifts. For example, he’s brought in a tub of nacho cheese for Gomez before. While the couple hasn’t provided the actual details on the ring, industry experts believe Gomez is sporting an 8-carat marquise diamond set in an eternity-style band. According to With Clarity, marquise diamonds likely date back to the 18th century and were first commissioned by King Louis XV of France. While the cut is classic, it’s grown in popularity in the last few years. According to several sources, Gomez’s ring is likely worth over $225,000.
