Blake Lively was looking relaxed and glam as she walked the red carpet at the TIME100 gala on April 24 in New York City.

The Gossip Girl star, 37, was being honored at the event, which recognizes the 100 most influential people of the year. Lively’s work as a philanthropist, including her support of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, earned her a spot on the exclusive list, which also includes Snoop Dogg, Nikki Glaser, Demi Moore, Serena Williams, and Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos.

The actor’s husband Ryan Reynolds, 48, was by her side as the pair posed for photographers ahead of the celebration at Jazz at Lincoln Center. The Deadpool star wore a classic tux, while Lively looked elegant in a flowing off-the-shoulder red gown by Zuhair Murad. She accessorized with chunky earrings, rings, and cuffs in vivid shades of green.

In an April 16 Instagram post, Lively said it was “an honor” to be included in the 2025 TIME100 list. She also thanked civil rights lawyer Sherrilyn Ifill, who wrote a brief piece in the magazine praising Lively.

“To be written about by the great @sherrilynifill is not something I take lightly,” Lively wrote. “Her work has shaped our nation. WHO SHE IS – as a human, woman, mother, leader, fighter, healer, empath, risk taker and dream maker- has shaped my heart and also my stamina to never stop believing in a future that’s better and safer for everyone.”

“Thank you @time And thank you @sherrilynifill for one of the most surreal and meaningful moments of my life in this honor,” she added. “My 10 year old self is pretty blown away right now.”

Lively and Reynolds’ outing comes as the Hollywood pair is embroiled in a legal battle with her It Ends With Us director and co-star Justin Baldoni. Lively has sued Baldoni and the movie’s producers, alleging she was sexually harassed on the set of the 2024 film and that he and his team publicly smeared her after the movie’s release. Baldoni has fired back, suing Lively, Reynolds, and Lively’s publicist for extortion and defamation. (He has also sued the New York Times for libel.) Lively’s case against Baldoni is currently set to go to trial in March 2026 in New York.
