Wicked‘s second installment is called Wicked: For Good, drawing its name from the hit song “Defying Gravity” that closed out part one. Glinda has elevated her position to Glinda the Good and Fiyero takes the role of the wizard’s guard in their quest to capture Elphaba.
But as Elphaba remains on the run from the Wizard, Fiyero joins her. The musical reveals that Madam Morrible and the Wizard plan to put Nessarose in danger so Elphaba returns to Oz, leading to the tornado that kills Nessarose which opens the 1939 film.
