Dolly Parton regretted writing her first book, but she’s planning to release another one this fall. Parton’s new book will reflect on her impressive career and most iconic performances. She spoke about her excitement about giving fans a look at her life as a performer.

Dolly Parton is releasing a new book

Beginning with 2020’s Dolly Parton, Songteller: My Life in Lyrics, Parton has sought to give fans insight into her life and career with a trilogy of autobiographies. Her upcoming book, Star of the Show: My Life on Stage follows Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones.

The latest book will focus on Parton’s life as a performer, beginning with her years on The Porter Wagoner Show. It will trace her meteoric rise to becoming one of the most beloved artists alive.

“I’m so excited to finally share my new book with you, Star of the Show: My Life on Stage!” Parton wrote in an Instagram announcement. “This book is a celebration of my journey as a performer, filled with personal stories, cherished memories, and never-before-seen photos from more than seven decades on stage.”

Star of the Show: My Life on Stage by Dolly Parton with Tom Roland is currently available for pre-order. It will be released on Nov. 11.
