Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley has a lot to celebrate. A few months before playing in his first-ever Super Bowl with his new team, Barkley got engaged to his longtime girlfriend and mother of his children. On Feb. 9, 2025, the Eagles won Super Bowl LIX and Barkley enjoyed a victory tour.

Now, the star has purchased a brand new home for his family and it’s quite an upgrade from where they used to live.

Here’s more on Barkley’s fiancée, how many children they have, and the details on the enormous 10,000-square-foot Pennsylvania mansion the athlete bought.

Barkley is engaged to Anna Congdon. The two are college sweethearts as they met when they both attended Penn State. It’s unclear exactly when the two started dating but signs point to 2016 since they became Instagram official in January 2017.

In college, Congdon pursued a degree in nursing. She’s also done some modeling and walked in the Savage x Fenty show in 2019.

Barkley credits Congdron for helping him be successful in his career, telling People: “I can’t be the athlete I am and have the success I have in my career without the help of her. She’s been super helpful and always has my back, not only in football but throughout life there’s a lot that goes on. But as we continue to grow and mature and go through life together, we continue getting closer and continue to get even better.”

In April 2018, the couple welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Jada. In September of 2022, their second child arrived, a son named Saquon Jr.

Barkley shared: “It’s a beautiful thing because we have two amazing children that we’re raising and we just sit back and laugh sometimes when they’re over there playing and just smile and think about where everything started.”

The family upgraded to a $3.9 million mansion in a Philadelphia suburb

After leaving the New York Giants and signing with the Eagles in 2024, Barkley decided to make the Philadelphia area his family’s permanent home.

The Pennsylvania native traded in his 6,900-square-foot property in Montville, New Jersey, for a much larger property in the suburb of Malvern, just outside Philadelphia.

His old five-bedroom, seven-bathroom home in the Garden State sold for $3.1 million, according to Realtor.com. The NFL star dropped $3.9 million on his new digs in the Keystone State.

The Barkley family’s new abode, which was built in 2017, sits on a 5.64-acre lot and offers 10,000 square feet of living space. It features six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. The property also boasts three fireplaces, an au pair/in-law suite, a saltwater pool, a hot tub, outdoor kitchens, a home theater, a gym, custom closets in the primary suite, a chef’s kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, a walk-in pantry, two laundry rooms, a basketball court, and has room to park 17 cars.
