Jenelle Evans accuses August Keen of domestic violence and drunk driving
Jenelle Evans and August Keen broke up in January, and since then, they’ve been throwing shade at each other. Things seemed to quiet down toward the end of February, but as March kicked off, the allegations grew more intense and public. In the last week, Jenelle has taken to social media to accuse August Keen of driving under the influence and of domestic violence. The troubled Teen Mom 2 alum also said her kids are happy Keen is gone and insists he caused chaos in her home and for her children.
Evans moved to Las Vegas to be closer to Keen, who she insisted was just her manager for several months, in May 2024. The problems started quickly after that. Followers noted that Evans spent a lot of time away from her children, out drinking and otherwise experiencing Vegas, often with Keen in tow. Over the summer, a 911 call placed by Keen surfaced. While he initially defended his then-girlfriend, the relationship soured a few months later. Now, the former flames are officially broken up, and they’ve both changed their stories about their former partners.
August Keen claims he was tasked with caring for Evans’ children
August Keen wasted no time after his breakup with Jenelle Evans to start talking trash about her online. The alleged talent manager was quick to accuse Evans of a variety of wrongs, including violence, drug use, and alcoholism, both on social media and in magazine interviews.
Recently, he took to social media to claim that Evans never cared for her children and often tasked him with dealing with child-related tasks. Keen claims he was even responsible for dealing with the children’s schools when they were in trouble. He told OK! Magazine that the kids “loved” him, but Jenelle weaponized them against him.
Jenelle claims she signed for her former manager’s new car
While there are plenty of allegations of drug and alcohol use flying between the former flames, Evans is also calling into question Keen’s financial situation. The former reality TV star took to social media several weeks ago to claim Keen could not afford his car on his own. She says he needed her to co-sign for the vehicle. Evans claims she did just that. Now she could be on the hook for payments if Keen were to fall behind.
The accusation calls into question Keen’s financial claims. He has long suggested he is a talent manager with many clients. Still, he doesn’t appear to be connected to any well-known celebrity. At one point, he also took to TikTok to claim he was wealthy on his own.
