Jenelle Evans Says Nathan Griffith Contacted Her Before His Arrest; Said He’d Been Drinking
Jenelle Evans has had her own run-ins with the Las Vegas police department since moving to the state back in May 2024. She, however, insists that this time around, she served as a voice of reason when it came to the police. The former Teen Mom 2 star is currently defending Nathan Griffith, insisting she was invovled in his recent legal troubles. Griffith, 37, was recently arrested for domestic battery. Jenelle took to TikTok to share a “storytime” following the news. She insists the father of her second son was heading to her home before cops apprehended him.
Nathan Griffith arrested after squabble with girlfriend
Nathan Griffith has been arrested for domestic battery once again. This will mark his third arrest for domestic violence since 2023. All three of those arrests included strangulation. According to court records, Nathan was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on April 23.

Nathan saw a judge on April 24 but remains in custody. While court records do not indicate who his victim is, his current partner, a 21-year-old woman, has scrubbed Nathan from her social media profile in the wake of his arrest. Nathan was previously in jail for strangling a former girlfriend and, later, for attacking his sister in her own home. Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in each incident.
Jenelle Evans says Nathan was coming her way before cops apprehended him
Following news of Nathan’s most recent arrest on domestic battery charges, Jenelle Evans took to TikTok to share her side of the story. Jenelle hasn’t been involved with Nathan since 2015. Still, proximity seems to have her wrapped up in his latest run-in with the law.
In a lengthy TikTok video, Jenelle says she received a call from Nathan informing her that he had an argument with his girlfriend and that he feared she’d call the police. Jenelle claims she told the 37-year-old veteran to come to her house for “a few days” so he could sort out the issue because he was “crying.”

She went on to claim she asked him if he had attacked her. Jenelle alleges Nathan denied wrong doing, but stated that she was mad and he had been drinking. Nathan, who is legally not allowed to drink, then claimed he was getting into an Uber to travel to Jenelle’s home when cops arrived. Jenelle alleges she tried to talk Nathan into speaking to the police, but he refused. They breached the property and tackled him, claims the mother of three.
Jenelle was clearly defending Nathan this time around, but she was singing a much different tune years ago. Nathan was also arrested for domestic violence against Jenelle when they were briefly together. This story is still developing.
