Kelly Clarkson temporarily left hosting duties on The Kelly Clarkson Show due to personal matters, according to a report from Deadline. The host is expected to return to filming on March 13, 2025. In the meantime, she’s had several celebrities, like Simu Liu, Roy Wood Jr, Wanda Sykes, Brooke Shields, Willie Geist, and Molly Sims, take over for her.

While Clarkson is returning to hosting, it’s unclear when her episodes will air next. Additionally, fans should be pleased to know that the American Idol singer plans to tape the talk show’s 1,000th episode, which will film on March 18, 2025.

None of Clarkson’s guest hosts have addressed the singer’s absence, though Liu made light of his hosting duties while on the air. According to TMZ, fans have nothing to worry about. Sources who allegedly have direct knowledge of Clarkson’s circumstances claim Clarkson is dealing with personal matters not directly involving her.
