Kenya Moore Thanks ‘Besties’ for Support After Shocking ‘RHOA’ Episode Airs
Kenya Moore is speaking out following the incident that led to her suspension from The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
On Sunday, Bravo aired an explosive RHOA episode that highlighted the shocking stunt that got Kenya canned from the reality series. Despite criticism of her behavior toward fellow cast member Brit Eady, the former Miss USA has been unapologetic, saying she was just responding to threats and lamenting that her storylines were cut from the current season.
Kenya Moore takes aim at Brit Eady on ‘RHOA’

Kenya and Brit’s confrontation didn’t come as a surprise to Housewives viewers. In June 2024, it was widely reported that Kenya had been ousted from the RHOA cast after she displayed explicit images of Brit at the grand opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Spa. But on April 6, fans finally got to see the ugly incident between the two women for themselves.
Brit – who joined the show this season – had recently gotten into a spat with Kenya. The veteran Housewife said the newcomer threatened her by mentioning that she was carrying a gun.
“We were at a dinner and there was a person looking for a moment and she came for me,” Kenya told a crowd at the opening of her new spa.
While Brit had showed up at the event and attempted to make peace, Kenya wasn’t having it, saying she didn’t want “fake flowers” from “fake women.”
What followed was a jaw-dropping presentation that left the rest of the cast reeling.
“I did a little research and I found out who this bitch is,” Kenya said as she pulled out one of several posters that apparently featured photos of Brit. (Bravo blurred all the images on the posters.)
“So, who is this ho?” Kenya asked, adding that she tasked a team of private investigators to dig up dirt about the RHOA newbie. She then unveiled one final poster. Bravo declined to show the photo due to its “graphic nature.” But according to those who did see it, it showed Brit engaged in an explicit sexual act.
‘Real Housewives’ cast reacts to Kenya’s stunt
Kenya might have felt like she’d come out ahead in her battle with Brit. But the other Housewives were cringing at her mean girl behavior.
“I am mortified,” Porsha Williams said in a confessional. “I did not want to stand there and seem like I was in agreement of anything. I do not support this.”
Cynthia Bailey bluntly told Kenya that she needed to check herself. “You’re bigger than this,” she said.
Even Bravo – which stands to benefit from outrageous Housewife behavior – drew a line at Kenya’s revenge porn.
“Based on Kenya’s behavior, the decision was made to cease filming with her this season,” read a chyron at the end of the episode.
Kenya says her ‘hard work’ was cut from ‘RHOA’
After the episode aired, Kenya shared a message for her fans on Instagram.
“You have been my besties for the last 12 years and I love and appreciate you so much,” she wrote. “Last year you cried with me when all of my hard work from the salon was cut by Production and none of it was shown.”
“To the cast of #RHOA season 16, I wish you all an incredible season,” Moore added. “To my friends and family, thanks for loving me flaws and all,” she added.
In November, Kenya said she was taking “full accountability” for the incident that led to her losing her Bravo gig. But she also said she was merely defending herself after Brit threatened her.
“I felt very concerned,” she said during an appearance on The Tamron Hall Show (via YouTube). “I told the producers, ‘I’m concerned. I’m scared … it didn’t feel like it was taken care of. They actually made me feel like I was being a Black Karen. Like, ‘Here Kenya goes again, nothing really happened.’”
“I took matters into my own hands. I did research on her. I found a lot of information, especially in the explicit world,” she explained. At that point, Kenya said she decided to share those details about Brit with the rest of the world.
“I’m going to protect myself and tell everyone what I found out about her,” an unapologetic Kenya said. “It’s a receipt.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo. Episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
