For as long as Kim Kardashian West has been in the spotlight, there has been debate over her butt. Though the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has copped to contouring, fad diets, and waist trainers, she (and her four sisters) maintain that they have not received plastic surgery of any kind. Instead, Kardashian West credits diet, exercise, genetics, and shapewear for her figure.

Though the mogul hit a snag with the new brand prior to release, due to its original name, her new business has been booming since changing the name from Kimono. In fact, some people are projecting that her shapewear line will allow her to catch up to her little sister, Kylie Jenner, in wealth. Skims sales have been incredibly high thus far and Kardashian West has a lot more ground to cover.

The mom of four has been candid about the fact that shapewear has helped her achieve her curvaceous figure at times. This is particularly true when she wore corset outfits to high-profile events like the Met Gala. However, Kardashian West declares that shapewear and contouring are the only unnatural assistance she has used to make her figure more flattering. Still, critics are skeptical about her butt because they don’t feel it matches with the rest of her body. This debate has been ongoing for years, and Kardashian West even entertained it at one point. Years ago, the reality TV star brought a doctor onto an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians to insist that her butt was real. These days though, the 39-year-old is tired of having the conversation.

Unfortunately for the businesswoman, her fans and critics are far from done with the debate over her butt. In fact, a recent photo that she posted managed to reinvigorate the debate. Taking to her Instagram page, Kardashian West posted a throwback photo of herself in what was likely her early to mid-teenage years. “Baby K,” the reality TV star captioned the photo. Though the photo instantly garnered a lot of likes, it also managed to get tons of people fired up.

People were all too quick to point out just how different Kardashian West’s body looks in the photo. They began to express disbelief that the mogul was still claiming that her body was real and that she hadn’t received plastic surgery. “Crazy how much money can change a body,” one person commented on the photo. “And you still say that you booty is natural? LOL yeah, right,” another person chimed in. “Where was your butt at the time???? 🤔🤔 Oooh I just remember you got it after getting a BBL,” one Instagram user penned, using the technical abbreviation for a butt implant and lift.
Others were less concerned about Kardashian’s possible deceit and merely wanted to know where she and her sisters got their work done. “It would be nice to know what doctors they go to because Kim, Khloe, and Kylie have the exact same bodies now, and the doctors did a good job,” one fan declared. “Yes! I wish they would give us the deets instead of trying to tell everyone it’s all-natural,” another co-signed.
The mogul will likely never admit to plastic surgery
Of course, some fans rushed to Kardashian West’s defense. “You can tell she already had something going on back there, rather [sic] it’s real now or not… who cares by the way,” one person wrote in response to the criticism. Real or not, if Kardashian West hasn’t admitted to plastic at this point in her career, she likely never will. But, at this point, we’re not sure why it matters to anyone anymore.
