Meghan Markle Gives Fans a Peek Into Her Closet — Here’s How Much Her Clothes Really Cost
From the moment Meghan Markle met Prince Harry, her fashion became a big focus of her royal fame. Now that she and Harry have stepped down from their royal roles, her fashion is still top of mind, with every look — from a casual dinner to a night at a gala — being observed by the press and the public.
Meghan, who showed off her effortlessly elegant style in her new show With Love, Meghan, recently opened a new social media shop where fans can purchase all of her favorites. Prices definitely vary when it comes to what the duchess wears, but clothes are pretty high end.

Meghan Markle’s looks cost more than what most people would spend on clothes
Let’s not forget that Meghan is living a different life than most Americans, so it comes as no surprise that her clothes are on the pricier end. And while some people might get upset at the high price of Meghan’s wardrobe, her staples are mostly neutrals, and similar styles can almost certainly be found at less expensive stores.
The online storefront includes plenty of pieces; Meghan shared a Heidi Merrick beige sleeveless dress that retails for $1,350. A Cesta crossbody bag in a similar neutral beige is also linked, which costs $750. A pair of classic aviator Ray Bans, which cost $230, are available as well.
There are some good-quality collared shirts as well that can be worn with anything from white tailored pants to classic denim shorts. Tuckernuck’s “The Shirt” by Rochelle Behrens is linked, which costs $121. While it’s expensive for what it is, the look can easily be recreated using a less-expensive blue and white striped shirt. Meghan also linked a pair of $750 Saint Laurent sandals.
Meghan Markle’s fashion is relatable, but the prices aren’t
Meghan has a great sense of style. She knows how to make staple pieces look classic and classy, and while she isn’t a fan of bold prints or wild colors, her fashion choices certainly come across as sophisticated. Of course, the prices on these pieces are generally out of budget for any average American, but let’s not forget that this is Meghan’s closet, and she can spend her money how she chooses.
The good news is that other retailers like Amazon and Target have similar styles for much less. Since Meghan’s pieces are fairly subdued, it isn’t too hard to recreate the colors and styles using less expensive retailers.
